Overview

Daughter is an English fangame made by diamoni in RPG Maker 2003 made for Dream Diary Jam 5.

Gameplay

Daughter starts out like most Yume Nikki fangames, sleeping in the bed takes you to the dream world, and you can save by interacting with the vanity. You can also feed a bird, and change your menu theme by interacting with the porcelain doll collection next to the bird.

Plot

The game stars Edel, an old woman who lives by herself and refuses to enter the rooms of her home besides her own. You can explore her dreams while she waits for her family to visit her.

Unicorn		Edel takes the appearance of a Unicorn, doubling her walk speed. Pressing shift makes her change colors.
Ziegfeld Girl		Edel takes the appearance of the lady found in one of the rooms of the Theater, pressing shift will allow her to glow in the dark.
Kitchen knife		Edel puts on an apron and is given the ability to kill certain characters by interacting with them. When pressing shift Edel shows a pie she made with a cheerful expression.
Birdcage		Edel has a birdcage with a parrot inside as her head, pressing shift will make the parrot chirp and attracts NPCs. The birdcage and the parrot look identical to the ones in her bedroom.
Porcelain doll		Unavailable.
Child		Unavailable.
Flower		Edel's head is replaced by flowers. This effect allows her to teleport back to the dream foyer.
