Overview

cirrus is an English Yume Nikki fangame originally created by quiesphere, Reeve Cutler (Damask Dreams) & Violet Magarium. Updates are handled solely by quiesphere as of version 0.03^[1]. It was made for Dream Diary Jam 2 in RPG Maker VX Ace.

Gameplay

cirrus is a traditional fangame. The main objective is to collect effects by exploring the dream world. The dream world is accessed by sleeping in the bed. The player can save their progress using the voice recorder in the bedroom.

Plot

You play as Nebi, who has seemingly barricaded herself in her bedroom for unknown reasons, and explore her dreams.

Effects

Effect	Image	Description
Metal Bat		Nebi carries a metal baseball bat as a weapon. When interacting with NPCs, Nebi will attack them with her bat.
Rat		Nebi gains rat ears. Pressing S turns Nebi into a rat who can fit into smaller places.
Candle		Nebi carries a candle, lighting up dark areas. Pressing S replaces Nebi's upper body with a lit candle.
Bathrobe		Nebi wears a bathrobe. Pressing S makes her create a bubble that can be used as a landmark.
Bandage		Nebi wears bandages over her eyes.
Watering Can		Nebi holds a watering can. Pressing S makes rain start falling.
Garbage Can		Nebi wears a garbage bag as a cloak. Pressing S transforms her into a garbage can.
Stopsign		Nebi holds a stopsign. Pressing S makes it change color.
