Overview

Yume Nikki Online Project, also called YNOproject, is a project that aims to make the original Yume Nikki and several of its fangames playable online with added multiplayer features.

Features

Multiplayer: The most important feature, and the reason behind the project’s existence. Games are able to be played with other players. There’s also an option to hide players (except added friends) for a (mostly) single player experience.
Account: You can make an account. Having an account allows other players to see your username and for you to collect badges.
Friends You can chat with players and add people with accounts as friends.
Badges: Special collectibles you can get when doing something in-game, for example: getting an event or reaching a new area. One badge can be chosen to display next to your username.
Save Import and Export: You can download your save file onto your device and export it once you start a new game.
Compatibility: YNOproject can be played on a computer, on phones and on tablets.
Translations: Games are often available in several languages other than their native language, including translations in English, allowing these games to be more accessible.
Site Themes: The site has several selectable UI styles based on in-game menu themes. By default these change based on what is currently being used in-game, but can also be chosen independently.
