Gameplay

Aether is a traditional fangame, featuring a variety of effects to collect across the Dream World. The game features more dialogue than a regular fangame, as well as a slightly more concrete story and a Dream World split in two, with the latter half inaccessible from the start.

Plot

The game starts with the protagonist in her room, deciding to go to sleep to pass the time. In her dreams, she meets her own Shadow, whom Hirumataiyo seems to show disdain towards. As the player collects effects, Hirumataiyo talk more and more about their relationships and part of the protagonist's past.
