Overview
Houchou Shoujo Gensoukyoku ("Little Knife Girl Fantasy"), commonly known as Yume Nikki Gensou among the western community, is a Japanese Metroidvania-style fangame made by Atelier Izumi (Studio Izumi) in Flash.
Gameplay
The game takes Yume Nikki characters and puts them in a platformer world with Castlevania-style action and Metroid-like exploration.

Plot
Madotsuki descends onto the Pink Sea and enters Poniko's house with a knife and unclear motives. The player controls her as she explores various locations reminiscent of Yume Nikki, defeating enemies and collecting items.
