Effects Guide
Flowering Branch (花枝)
It looks like it was broken off from a tree.
Appearance: Huá Jū holds a sakura tree branch.
Passive Effect: Huá Jū's movement speed is increased
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Cherry World.
Practical Uses: Can be used to travel through the dream world a lot faster and avoid chasers.
Enter the blue door on the left in the nexus. Head south and then west when you see a blue plant. Then, walk between two light blue plants. In the new area, go north. Head southwest (more west than south) to find a line of cherries. Walk between the cherries until you are taken to a new area. You can only access this area once, so make sure you don't leave before obtaining the effect. Go southeast (more south than east) and interact with a pink-haired NPC beneath a tree.
Violation (违反)
School uniform? No way.
Appearance: Huá Jū wears casual clothes that would violate a school's uniform policy.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the School.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the blue door on the left in the nexus. Head south and then west when you see a blue plant. Then, walk between two light blue plants. In the new area, go north. Go a bit east, then north to find an arch to walk under. Interact with the screen on the end a couple times, then one large screen to be taken to a new area. Go a bit west, then north and interact with a green winged bug. Then, head a little north, then east and enter a building surrounded by vines. Inside, interact with the table, then a mask. This section is pretty linear, so just go right until you see an open door in the school. Huá Jū will refuse at first, but enter it to get to a dark classroom. Interact with the younger Huá Jū in the bottom center to trigger a wake-up event that gives you the effect.
Hydrocephalus (脑进水)
There's water in my brain.
Appearance: The top and back of Huá Jū's head becomes a fishbowl with water in it.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Dark Hallway.
Practical Uses: None. In the nexus, enter the white door with an S on it. Head a bit east, then south until you get to a circle. Go left or right until you see a blue worm-like NPC. Interacting with it takes you to a new area. Head right until you reach an open area. Go northeast and walk under the 愛 character to get teleported. Go north and walk up to the NPC. In the next area, go northwest and between two purple walls. Catch the fast-moving NPC with a red check mark for a head. In the photo-realistic area, go southwest and above the stones. Continue on the linear section until you reach a dark hallway. Go right. This area will loop about 7 times, so keep going right until you see an NPC at the end to give you the effect.
Marīcī/Sun Flame (阳焰)
Hallucination.
Appearance: Huá Jū appears glitched, with neon lights and numbers on his sprite.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in LOVE World.
Practical Uses: None.
In the nexus, enter the white door with an S on it. Head a bit east, then south until you get to a circle. Go left or right until you see a blue worm-like NPC. Interacting with it takes you to a new area. Head right until you reach an open area. Go north and interact with a pink-haired NPC.
Burin (刻刀)
But, you can't.
Appearance: Huá Jū holds a burin, a chisel for engraving on tombstones.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Red World.
Practical Uses: None.
In the nexus, enter the white door with an S on it. Head a bit east, then south until you get to a circle. Go left or right until you see a blue worm-like NPC. Interacting with it takes you to a new area. Head right until you reach an open area. Go northeast and walk under the 愛 character to get teleported. Go north and walk up to the NPC. Head a bit south, then west and interact with a heart on a spike. Here, go south through the gap. Head west and you'll find a large group of buildings. Enter the one in the 3rd row from the top and 2nd from the left. When the scenery changes, Go left until the last building in the group is offscreen. You may see another building on the left, ignore it, go south, and enter the next building you see.

In the nexus, enter the white door with an S on it. Head a bit east, then south until you get to a circle. Go left or right until you see a blue worm-like NPC. Interacting with it takes you to a new area. Head right until you reach an open area. Go northeast and walk under the 愛 character to get teleported. Go north and walk up to the NPC. Head a bit south, then west and interact with a heart on a spike. Here, go south through the gap. Head west and you'll find a large group of buildings. Enter the one in the 3rd row from the top and 2nd from the left. When the scenery changes, enter the building directly to the right. Go right and interact with the objects at the end until you find an NPC named Graffiti (涂鸦). Talking to him will cause an event to play out. This results in Huá Jū waking up and unlocks a new nexus door.
