Effects Guide
Scooter
Zip around on a Scooter.
Appearance: The protagonist rides a scooter.
Passive Effect: The protagonist's movement speed increases.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Fidgety Gadget world.
Practical Uses: Used to travel through the dream world faster.
Interact with the telescope in the observatory and navigate left to the grey and green satellite and interact with it. In the Fidgety Gadget world, head northeast enter the doorway. When you see two doors next to each other, enter the one on the right. In the Cheesescape, go southeast and you'll find another set of stairs. Go down them. Back in the Fidgety Gadget world, interact with the green pins on the floor to push them down and proceed to the scooter to get the effect.
Megaphone
Yell through a Megaphone.
Appearance: The protagonist carries a white megaphone.
Passive Effect: None
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Old School.
Practical Uses: None.
In the Fidgety Gadget world, head to the two doors side-by side. This time, enter the left door to get to the Apartment Complex. Go right, then down into the hallway. Continue right down the hallway and enter the door at the end. Head down until you reach the end of this hallway. You should see a room with several tables on the right. Enter there and continue right and enter the right door at the end. Go all the way down that hallway and go left. Continue left through several rooms until you reach a room with a door that leads up. Continue up to the end and enter a pink room on the right. Enter the hole in the wall. In the Old School, you need to find 3 ghosts and have them follow you to their headstones. Only one ghost can follow you at a time. Go north and enter the double doors at the end. Continue north and enter the second doorway on the left. Interact with the ghost in the classroom. Exit the room and go into the last door on the left. Interact with the hole in the top left corner of this room. Continue through the next room and go northwest. Go through the second set of double doors at the top. Here, interact with a specific headstone and the ghost will disappear. Then, exit the room and go thorough the other set of double doors. In this large room, go northeast (more east then north) and you'll find a ghost surrounded by tables. With this ghost, exit the room and interact with the next headstone. For the last ghost, exit the headstone room and enter the doorway on the left. Push the bookshelf aside and enter the hole. Interact with the ghost at the end of this room and return it to its headstone. This will give you the effect.
Monitor Head
Push 1 to return to the Observatory.
Appearance: The protagonist's head is replaced with a monitor.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (1) The monitor turns blue and the protagonist warps to the Observatory.
Location: Found in the Jupiter Base.
Practical Uses: Used to warp back to the Observatory.
- Having the Scooter effect is recommended.
Through the telescope, interact with the green planet. Go southeast and jump down a hole. In the next area, find another hole to jump down. Equip the Scooter effect and avoid the multiple sawfish, as they will take the protagonist to an inescapable area if caught. Find the next hole around the northwest part of the map. In the new area, head down and jump down the cliff and go left. In the Jupiter Base, navigate to the end of the hall and enter the vent. Go through the vent to end in a new area. Equip the Scooter effect again and avoid the zombies; they'll teleport the player back to the entrance of the map. Enter the vent in the center of the map and find the key card in the next area. With the key card, head back to the locked door you passed by the entrance. Through the now-unlocked door, interact with the monitor in the room to get the effect.
