Warning: this game contains some flashy areas, events and a few jump scares. There's also a few areas that have scrolling backgrounds, including The Nexus. The screen fades out before a pixelated transition appears whenever I go to sleep. There's two more pixelated transitions when I wake up. This game’s endings also need a trigger warning for suicide.
There’s also a spotlight effect whenever I open a door in The Nexus and when I save the game. The animations for obtaining and equipping effects may also be flickery.
The first world of the video is very dark. I don’t use the Monkfish effect here to make things brighter as I already sort of knew where to go, but there’s still some drawings/patterns on the ground which may be slightly distracting as I move around.
After going through a white door, I’m taken to a white area that has a lot of doors and rooms. I interact with a big shadowy fox that gives me the Youko effect.
I then explore the area some more. I go through a door that leads to a series of rooms. The second door takes me to a room with a lot of slightly glitchy objects which could be flickery. The last door takes me to a room with a single NPC.
When I interact with the NPC, the screen fades out and a slightly flashy and colourful full screen event starts. A lot of different scrolling colourful patterns are shown through an eye. The patterns also change colours as they’re scrolling around which could be flashy. There’s also a slight filter covering the patterns which could make the event slightly more distracting/flickery.
The screen fades out again as the event ends and I’m returned to the room. I then return to the main area and take a path to the south. At the end of the path, there’s a small area with some stairs. There’s an event in this area that needs a trigger warning for suicide as Yorozuki jumps from the stairs.
As Yoruzuki jumps, a white hand tries to reach out and grab him as he falls. He then lands in a small room as the screen fades out and a squelchy sound effect plays. As the screen fades back in, Yoruzuki is dead and there’s a lot of blood which could be a bit gross. The screen then fades out again before waking up.
