Walkthrough
This is a partial walkthrough on where to find effects and how to get items and achievements. Whilst some of the content has been translated from Yume Nikki Derivation Enjoyment @wiki, the rest is based on actual playing experience.
Note that most of the content is based on playing version 0,07. The latest version of GOCCO is 0,08, so errors and obsolete information may be present.

Effects Guide
Tire Iron (ひかきぼう)
Better to have atleast Pointed Hat effect or Pneumatic Accelerator item.
Reality → Manhole World, find downstairs in south-west direction → Blue-Green Swamp, go all way to the east then south and east again, in next area go to the east, then south and to the west → Yellow Fish Passage, navigate your way in north-west direction → Passage to Guitar-san's Place, go all way to the west, in next area go to the west, then north to Guitar-san and all way to the east → Chinatown, go all way to the east and enter in last door, in next are go to the north and enter in first west pass, in next room go all way to the door → Red Maze, avoiding chasers navigate your way to the another rectangular object in north-east direction. → Gray Town, avoiding chasers navigate your way to the white shadow girl and interact with her to get effect.
Crown (おうかん)
Reality → Manhole World, find downstairs in south-west direction → Blue-Green Swamp, go all way to the east then south and east again, in next area go to the east, then south and to the east → Purple Passage, go all way to the east twice → Castle, go all way to the Eyeball King and interact with him to get effect.
Pointed Hat (とんがりぼうし)
Reality → World of Broken Glass, go west then north, all way east, north and go west to the doorfame enter in it → Rainy Ruins, go east to the ground tile and all way south to the black one eyed ghost, interac with him → Ghost Castle, go all way east and enter in castle through the double red doors, go west then north and go east on a third way, go all way to the downstairs, go all way to the white humanoid creature, pass him and go north, then west to the red carpet, enter in firtst door which you see go all way out of that room, go west and then to the south way, enter in first door, talk to the old man to get effect.
Vacuum Cleaner (そうじき)
Reality → Graffiti world, go south until bed and interact with it, → Hospital, go south to the wall then go east to the wall's edge, go south to the cardiogram device thing, go west to the wall's ege, go north and enter the door, in next room go in the next door → Painting Passage, go all way east to the door and enter in it → Head family numbers World, go south and enter in doorframe, go west and enter the next doorframe, go south and enter in the last doorframe → Harbor in the evening, go a little bit south-west and enter in opened container → Curtain World, from enter go not far north to the three ribbons things, then all way east to the another ribbon frame, enter through it → Warehouse Passage, avoiding chasers go north then east, south, east, north, east and all way north → Torso World. from window go east passing ten manequins, then go south passing four manequins and enter the another window → Dark Window Passage, just go all way east → Green Men Garden, go north-east and enter the way above → White Ruins, find in the middle vacuum cleaner and interact with it to get effect.
Wire (はりがね)
Reality → Manhole World. make six steps to the west and then go all way south and enter the downstairs → Lower part of Manhole World, go north-west to the downstairs → Stone Humanoids World → Place the ball (at the north-western side of the map) in a hole (at the south-western side of the map), dive into the hole after the ball, then talk to the creature in the small room.
Ice (こおり)
Reality → Manhole World, go in north-west corner and interact with green man → Purple and Green Mountains World, go east to the end then south, find and interact with purple/violet man, → Glass Passage, follow directions, east, north, east, north, west, south, east and interact with blonde girl to get effect.
Headset (ヘッドセット)
Reality → Manhole World. make six steps to the west and then go all way south and enter the downstairs → Lower part of Manhole World, go in south-west corner and enter the downstairs → Yellow Tiles World, go south-west and enter the archway → Waterside Town, go east and on crossroads follow directions, north, north, east and enter thr green house, → Talk to the singer who is on the stage at the concert to get effect.
Dot (ドット)
Reality → Manhole World, find downstairs in south-west direction → Blue-Green Swamp, go all way to the east then south and east again, in next area go to the east, then south and to the west → Yellow Fish Passage, navigate your way in north-west direction → Passage to Guitar-san's Place, go all way to the west, in next area go to the west, then north to Guitar-san and all way to the east → Chinatown, go all way to the east and enter in last door, in next are go to the north and enter in first west pass, in next room go all way to the door → Red Maze, avoiding chasers navigate your way to the another rectangular object in north-east direction. → Gray Town, avoiding chasers navigate your way to the exit on north-east → Office, go south to the bottom door, in next corridor go west, north and or east or west, in a big room go all way north and enter the north-east door. → Appartments of Ghosts, go east and after first door follow directions, west, go down by ladder, west, enter the door, east, enter the second door, west and interact with round white creature with different colored eyes to get effect.
Mosaic (モザイク)
Reality → World of Broken Glass, go west then north, all way east, north and go west to the doorfame enter in it → Rainy Ruins, go east to the ground tile and all way south to the black one eyed ghost, interac with him → Ghost Castle, go all way east and enter in castle through the double red doors, go west then north and go east on a third way, go all way to the downstairs, go all way to the white humanoid creature, pass him and go north then enter the west first door → Black-and-White World, go south-eas andt enter the black and white arc → Subway Station, go all way down and wait a train (to a station in the city) → Station in the city, navigate your way to the south-east corner and wait train (to a station in the countryside - red sign) → Station in the countryside, follow directions, east, south, east and just keep going by path → Countryside, follow directions, east. south, east. south, east. walk between four sunflowers → Sunflower Passage, just go all ay north but before exit use the Pointed Hat Effect to make chasers slower → Eyes and Chasers Hallways, navigate your way to the exit on north-east → Red Flashing Room, go all way north and interact with black creture to get effect.
Female Doctor (じょい)
You need here Tire Iron effect.
Reality → Graffiti World, go north-east and enter the hole in the square which near to the green tiles → Colorful Plates World, go south-east and walk between two purple/violet sticks → Connecting passage → Dark Bridge World, use Tire Iron to kill purple creature and follow directions, southx4, eastx8, south, east and enter the door → Connecting passage, avoiding chasers go north and enter the door → Red tree painting World, make 14 steps to the south, then go west and enter the center of branches's square → Flower Tiles World, from two flowers go south and walk between another two flowers → A black field with a Gyudon Shop, just go east to the end → Symbols World, go north-east and interact with a red cross to get effect.
Rope (なわ)
Reality → Manhole World. make six steps to the west and then go all way south and enter the downstairs → Lower part of Manhole World, go north-west to the downstairs → Stone Humanoids World, go south-west and go through the arc→ Savannah, go south west and go through another ark→ Bubble World, go north-east and enter the door, in next room go north through another door → Mr.HEL's Live Concert, go north-west and throught the double doors → Huge Face Passage, use the Pointer Hat effect and avoiding the chaser go east to the another face → Passage with a string in the back, just go east to thr end → World of Darkness Talk, from enter go east to the photoframes which will be above. interact with the doctor in middle of photoframes's circle to get effect.
Apron (エプロン)
Reality → Manhole World → Blue-Green Swamp → Yellow Fish Passage → Guitar-san's Place → Dark Neon Shapes World → Dark/Red Hallways → Purple Bugs Neighborhood → Interact with the black cat in one of the alleys between the houses.

Boat (ふね)
You must have obtained all of the other effects for the yellow door to appear outside of Sanagi's house.

Consumable Items
These items are consumable, which means their amount decreases each time you use them. When you are out of the item, it will disappear from your list until you pick it up again. These items can be collected to an unlimited amount.

| Pneumatic Accelerator (空圧式加速装置) | Increases movement speed. But it also has a chance to spawn a extremely fast red version of the blue chaser in many locations around the game. It has no effect to the pointed hat and only goes away when you turn it off. (Use at your own risk) | Pick it up in Broken Glass World. |
| Watering Can (じょうろ) | Helps in raising seeds at particular locations. | Get it from the green gardener in the Orange Ruins Garden. |

It can be accessed by going through a hallway of large yellow eyed creature from the alien spaceship area. |

Clothes and Accessories
Although clothes are collectable in GOCCO, (almost) none of them actually show up on the sprite when equipped. All of these items are there to add up "defence", "attack", "mental" etc. points to Sanagi. Since it's not a real RPG, only some of those qualities actually make any difference during the game.
