Effects Guide
Crane (つる)
Appearance: Mitsuki becomes a red-crowned crane.
Passive Effect: When flying, Mitsuki's movement speed is increased.
Action: (Shift) Mitsuki switches between flying and walking states.
Location: Found in the Rice World.
Practical Uses: Can be used to travel through the dream world a lot faster.
Enter the top left yellow door in the nexus to get to Rice World. Go left and interact with the crane.
Snowball (ゆき)
Appearance: Mitsuki becomes a snowball.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) It will begin to snow.
Location: Found in the Snow House.
Practical Uses: Used to trigger an event.
Enter the top left yellow door in the nexus. Head southeast and enter the building. Go down the stairs. In the Residential Area, go northeast and enter a house with a yellow roof to get to a new area. Sit at the bus stops to teleport around the map. You'll eventually find a snow house. Enter it and pick up the item on the table.
Fuki Shoot (ふきのとう)
Appearance: Mitsuki becomes a Fuki Shoot.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Mitsuki buries herself into the ground and becomes immobile.
Location: Found in the Snowfall World.
Practical Uses: Used to trigger an event.
Enter the top right door in the nexus to get to Sakura World. Go northwest and enter the hole in a cherry blossom tree. Continue down. Go right and enter the doorway with a vase and you'll reach a different hallway. Head right again and enter the open window to get to a new area. Navigate the Floral Path until you find a white object on the right side of the map. Interact with it to be taken to Snowfall World. Head northwest and pick up the light green plant in the ground.
Sakura (さくら)
Appearance: Mitsuki has cherry blossom branches that look like antlers growing from her head.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Cherry blossoms will grow and fall from the branches.
Location: Found in the Sakura World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the top right door in the nexus. Go right and follow the path down until you see a cherry blossom branch on the ground. Interact with it.
Turtle (かめ)
Appearance: Mitsuki becomes a turtle.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Mitsuki retracts into her shell and becomes immobile.
Location: Found in the Bridge Maze.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the top right door in the nexus. Go northwest and enter the hole in a cherry blossom tree. Continue down. Go right and enter the doorway with a vase and you'll reach a different hallway. Head right again and continue doing this until you reach the Bridge Maze. Here, go west until you reach the end, then south, west, south. Go west past some doors and then north. Go west and enter the set of doors. Interact with the turtle.
Hydrangea (あじさい)
Appearance: Mitsuki holds an umbrella with a hydrangea pattern.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) It will begin to rain.
Location: Found in the Hydrangea World.
Practical Uses: Used to trigger an event.
Enter the green door in the nexus to get to the Sunflower World. Head southeast and walk between two pillars. Interact with the spinning sunflower icon. In the Pattern Maze, head right and you should find a spinning blue icon. Interact with it and head south between two gates. In the Hydrangea world, go southeast and interact with the umbrella surrounded by flowerless shrubs.
Sunflower (ひまわり)
Appearance: Mitsuki's head is replaced with a sunflower.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) The sunflower wilts.
Location: Found in the Sunflower World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the green door in the nexus. Head southeast and interact with the wilted sunflower.
Heat Haze (かげろう)
Appearance: Mitsuki's hair is swept by the the summer heat, reflecting different colors.
Passive Effect: Hidden objects become visible.
Action: (Shift) The screen flashes white and Mitsuki's hair changes color.
Location: Found in Seaside Town.
Practical Uses: Used to access new areas.
Enter the green door in the nexus. Head southeast and walk between two pillars. Interact with the spinning sunflower icon. In the Pattern Maze, head generally north of where you started and you should find an icon of three white rectangles. Interact with it. Exit the building and go left and up stairs until you see a shimmering NPC and interact with them.
Smoke (けむり)
Appearance: Mitsuki becomes a wisp of smoke.
Passive Effect: When invisible, Mitsuki can pass through NPCS.
Action: (Shift) Mitsuki becomes semi-transparent.
Location: Found in the Smoke Elevator.
Practical Uses: Used to trigger events and access new areas.
Enter the gray door in the nexus to get to Chrysanthemum World. Go northwest and through the archway. Enter the building and go down the elevator. Then, head left and then down. In the new area, go northwest and enter the small building. Continue through the building and interact with the elevator.
Chrysanthemum (きく)
Appearance: Mitsuki holds a Chrysanthemum.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Mitsuki plants a Chrysanthemum.
Location: Found in the Chrysanthemum World.
Practical Uses: Used to trigger events and mark places on the map.
Enter the gray door in the nexus. Head southeast interact with the small yellow flower in the vase.
Maple (もみじ)
Appearance: Mitsuki wears an autumnal hakama.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Mitsuki lifts her arms.
Location: Found in the Room Closet.
Practical Uses: Used to trigger an event.
Enter the gray door in the nexus. Go northwest and through the archway. Enter the building and go down the elevator. Keep going south until you find yourself in a room full of people. Talk to different people until you are transported to Maple World. Go south and follow the path. Enter the wardrobe. In the room, open the wardrobe.
Close (とじる)
Appearance: Mitsuki becomes a butsudan.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) The doors close and Mitsuki is teleported to the nexus.
Location: Found in the Room Closet.
Practical Uses: Used to warp back to the nexus and trigger an event.
Enter the top left yellow door in the nexus. Head southeast and enter the building. Go down the stairs. In the Residential Area, go northwest and enter a house with a red roof to get to the Eyeball Trees World. Head left. Go south and you'll find an entrance where the walls form a C shape. Head left. Go southeast and through a white door. Enter the cabinet. Here, interact with cabinets until one give you the effect.
Events Guide
Crane flying away
- The Crane and Smoke effects are needed for this event.
Equip the Smoke effect and interact with the crane that gives you the Crane effect.
Snowfall
- The Snowball effect is needed for this event.
In the Snow House, sit on the pink cushion without any effects equipped. After a green cushion appears, exit the house.
Rain storm
- The Hydrangea effect is needed for this event.
In the area where you find the Hydrangea effect, equip it and cause it to rain hard. After a while, it begin to storm and eventually subside.
Fuki Shoot
- The Fuki Shoot effect is needed for this event.
In the area where you find the Fuki Shoot effect, turn on the hose. Head northwest and interact with a root.
Disintegrating
- The Chrysanthemum and Smoke effects are needed for this event.
In the room just before the one where you find the Smoke effect, interact with the chrysanthemum on the floor.
Chrysanthemum
- Having the Chrysanthemum effect for this event is recommended.
Enter the top left yellow door in the nexus. Head southeast and enter the building. Go down the stairs. In the Residential Area, go northwest and enter a house with a red roof. Head left. Go south and you'll find an entrance where the walls form a C shape. Head left. Go to the bottom of the map and wait for a Chrysanthemum to float by and interact with it.
Picture Frame
- The Maple effect is needed for this event.
In the area where you find the Maple effect, interact with the object on the drawer.
Flower Dream
In the dream bedroom, there is a random chance of having a dream when getting into the bed.
Empty Rooms
In the area where you obtained the Maple effect, head back the way you came through Maple World and to the building. All the people should now be gone. Walk to the reception area.
Closed eyes
- The Chrysanthemum, Smoke or Close effects are needed for this event.
In the Eyeball Trees World, equip the Smoke, Chrysanthemum, or Close effect.
Funeral
- You'll need to have triggered all previous events before this event.
There are seven butsudan (pictured right) in the dreamworld. When you fall asleep, one is randomly picked to teleport the player to a Chrysanthemum Stairway when interacted with. Once you find the one, head down the stairway. If the flower in the vase in front of the door is wilted, Equip the Smoke effect and pass through it. If it is not wilted, you'll need to trigger more events and come back to this area. Interact with the flag. In the new area, interact with the blue flag and each new flag to get to the ground level. Head northeast and into a building. Here, go southeast and into the other building. Inside, continue east. Interact with a flower and then leave, you should now be in a room. Press the interact key.
Endings Guide
Ending 1
Collect all 12 effects and drop them in the nexus. (Hold Enter with an effect equipped while in the nexus to drop it.) Wake up and exit through the door.
Ending 2
Witness every event and collect all 12 effects and drop them in the nexus. Wake up and exit through the door.
