Overview
Tamashii Yume (魂夢, lit. Soul Dream) is a Japanese flash fighting fangame made by Atelier Izumi, who also created other Yume Nikki fighting fangames. It is also known as Yume Nikki Soul Dream in the western community.
This game used to be distributed with another one of Atelier Izumi's games, Houchou Shoujo Gensoukyoku, but was at some point removed. It can no longer be downloaded via official channels.
Gameplay
The gameplay is similar to Houchou Shoujo Gensoukyoku, but you have a gun along with a knife. The goal is to beat the game as fast as you can. Along the way you face off with various characters from the original Yume Nikki, including doppelgängers of Madotsuki herself.
The game ends when the player either dies or defeats the game's final boss.
Plot
Madotsuki seems to be fighting to try to save Poniko.
