Effects Guide
Bolt
Become a speedy bolt of electricity.
Appearance: Ina becomes a bolt of electricity.
Passive Effect: Ina travels at an increased walking speed.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Circuit World.
Practical Uses: Can be used to travel through the dream world a lot faster and avoid chasers.
Enter the bottom left door in the nexus. Head left and interact with the electricity bolt NPC.
Mandelbrot
Replace your head with the Mandelbrot set.
Appearance: Ina's head becomes the Mandelbrot set.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Hold Z) Ina is teleported to the nexus.
Location: Found in the Mandelbrot World.
Practical Uses: Used to warp back to the nexus.
Enter the bottom right door in the nexus. In the Sierpiński Desert, head southeast and enter a dark Mandelbrot doorway. Head north and interact with the Mandelbrot NPC wearing sunglasses.
Butcher
Wield a butcher's knife.
Appearance: Ina holds a bloody meat cleaver.
Passive Effect: NPCs move away from Ina.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Butcher World.
Practical Uses: Can be used to kill NPCs and access some events.
Enter the top right door in the nexus. Head west and across a gear bridge. Interact with the painting. Here, head south and interact with the pink painting. Then, interact with the bottom left painting. Head up and interact with the blue painting. Go up to the pink painting and then down to the painting of a heart. Head southwest and pick up the cleaver trailed by a pool of blood.
Princess
Don a royal gown.
Appearance: Ina wears a purple princess gown and tiara.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Gallery World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the top right door in the nexus. Head west and across a gear bridge. Interact with the painting. Here, head south and interact with the pink painting. Then, interact with the bottom left painting. Head up and interact with the blue painting. Go up to the blue painting and then the black one. Head up and interact with the painting with a pink frame.
Events
Pharaoh's Curse
In the Sierpiński Desert, head southwest and enter the pyramid. Go southeast and through the doorway. Head southeast again through another doorway. Here, go left or right and the hallway will randomize. Do this until the center has a Sierpiński triangle-shaped doorway. Enter the room and interact with the coffin.
Angry Painter
- The Butcher effect is needed for this event.
Enter the top right door in the nexus. Head west and across a gear bridge. Interact with the painting. Here, head south and interact with the pink painting. Then, interact with the bottom left painting. Head up and interact with the blue painting. Go up to the painting of a paintbrush. Here, head up a few steps and then right. Enter the wider red building. Equip the Butcher effect and use it on the NPC's portrait. This will anger the painter and cause paintbrush chasers to spawn in this world and the Gallery World. Allow yourself to get caught by the painter.
Ending
After you've collected all 4 effects, wake up and head out onto the balcony. Pick up the item to the left and interact with it. Triggering this event does not actually end the game.
