Overview
Yume 2kki (ゆめ2っき, Yume Nikki, Dream Diary) is a Japanese fangame developed in RPG Maker 2000. It is a collaboration project managed by 5ch users and thus features a variety of worlds, effects, and ideas. It stars a girl named Urotsuki.
Gameplay
Yume 2kki is a traditional fangame. There is no overarching plot and the primary goal is to explore and collect all of the effects. Each of these effects have a particular use that can be found by traveling around the dream world. Some effects, such as Bike and Wolf, can be combined together.
Yume 2kki features collectible wallpapers that can be unlocked by reaching certain areas or activating certain events. These wallpapers can be found on Urotsuki's real world PC and serve as a side-quest for the game. Collecting 500 or more wallpapers unlocks one of the game's four main endings.
The soundtrack can be listened to by using the "Music" application on Urotsuki's computer. Music tracks can be unlocked by hearing them in the dream world at least once. Menu themes which are scattered in the dream world in the form of eggs can also be collected.

Urotsuki becomes a child, allowing her to fit through small holes. Pushing the action button makes her jump up and then sit with her arms over her head. |
| Red Riding Hood (あかずきん) |
 |
Urotsuki is dressed as Little Red Riding Hood. Pushing the action button makes her grab an apple out of her basket and eat it. |
| Tissue (ティッシュ) |

Urotsuki's head becomes a tissuebox. Pushing the action button makes her pull a tissue out and lay it on the floor as a landmark. |
| Bat (コウモリ) |

Urotsuki grows bat wings, with a random chance of being accompanied with horns and a tail. Pushing the action button will mark the spot where Urotsuki is standing. Pushing the action button again will make her fly up and back to the spot previously marked. |
| Polygon (ポリゴン) |

Makes Urotsuki's body and head cubic. Pushing the action button will change low resolution to high resolution and vice versa. When changing back to low resolution, there is a random chance of a hole appearing on Urotsuki's face. |
| Teru Teru Bōzu (てるてるぼうず) |

Urotsuki turns into a Teru Teru Bōzu. Pushing the action button makes it rain (or (rarely) snow). Pushing the action button again makes it stop. |

To install this translation pack, players need to run Yume 2kki through EasyRPG player (some features do not work properly on the normal release so using the continuous build is recommended). A preinstalled version is available online.
First, follow the Instructions from the Yume 2kki wiki. Rename the "2kki" folder in the language pack zip to "languages" (or to "language" if using a continuous build), and put it in the Yume Nikki game directory (ゆめ2っき). If the game is launched using the EasyRPG.exe in that game directory, it will pick up the translations and show them on the main menu. |
