Patch 3.0

Released nearly five months after Patch 2.0, this update consists of graphical changes along with some new configuration options.

The game's starting graphics were changed.

The developer's signature on the title screen was made slightly bigger.

Graphics

The game now uses HP bars for the battle screens instead of numbers. Some graphics were changed to mimic the Game Boy's color palette limit.

Miscellaneous

  • The game's window size can now be scaled and configured.
  • The game's language can be selected when starting the game.
  • The Language Pack is included in the game's files and no longer needs to be downloaded seperately.

Patch 2.0

Released a month after Patch 1.0, this version mainly consists of graphical updates and bugfixes.

Two of the starting screen graphics were changed. The warning logo on the first screen was changed slightly to a more aliased look. The Yume Nikki Amino screen's font was changed and resized slightly and the logo was also changed.

Some of the dialogue facesets were changed/replaced, such as in the example above.

Graphical changes were also made to the battle system. The game will change Annie's sprite based on what effect she has equipped while in battle.

In addition to graphical changes, the game is now more lenient on letting the player progress. Originally the player would become stuck and be forced to start over if they lost a particular battle. Now the game allows the player to move forward regardless of whether they win or lose certain fights.

Bugfixes

  • A "Lock Save Game" bug that occurred when showing selections was fixed.
  • Gameplay bugs were fixed

Miscellaneous

A Language Pack extension was added, allowing players to play the game in English by placing the extension in the game's folder.

Patch 1.0

Released two months after the first release, this version added some Quality-of-Life features and fixed some bugs.

The title screen now includes a Load (Seguir) button for players loading in a previous save.

Gameplay

When starting a new game, players can now skip the opening cutscene by pressing Z.

A save feature was added to the game. Players can now save their progress by interacting with the diary in Annie's bedroom.

  • Several gameplay bugs were fixed.
