Effects Guide
In Fumitsuki's side, the objective is to collect effects. However, in Koitsuki's, it is the opposite, where you are to abandon all the effects that you have.
Fumitsuki's Effects
Letter (文)
Become a letter.
Appearance: Fumitsuki becomes a walking envelope.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) The envelope's seal lifts, revealing a letter inside.
Location: Found in Music Note Area.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the door with three multi-color squares to Neon Tribal World. Head northwest and enter a triangular archway comprised of arms, then go through the Gutter Path, which leads to the Purple Cyclops World. Go southwest and enter the first open mouth lower to the ground you see and enter the green water. Follow the path and interact with the letter. In the water, go left and interact with the next letter. Head up and through the door. You'll find yourself in Koitsuki's room. When you enter the room from the Green Sea, the is a 1 in 20 chance that there will be a letter on the desk. If so, you'll be able to enter the bed and find yourself on the balcony. Once you enter the room from the balcony, it will become distorted. Go into the bed and down some stairs. Interact with the NPC at the end of the path to trigger a full screen event. Afterwards, interact with the music note.
Liar (うそつき)
Become a liar.
Appearance: Fumitsuki's body becomes black with red outlines.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) Fumitsuki gives off a beep with a creepy smile and a beep sound plays. Sometimes, a Morse-encoded message that spells "U-B-A-E" (奪え, steal) plays instead.
Location: Found in Purple Cyclops World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the door with three multi-color squares to Neon Tribal World. Head northwest and enter a triangular archway comprised of arms, then go through the Gutter Path, which leads to the Purple Cyclops World. Go southwest and enter the second open mouth lower to the ground you see, then interact with the small cyclops inside.
Adult (おとな)
Become an adult.
Appearance: Fumitsuki's sprite becomes pixelated and a fake error window appears, which translates to "File 'Bright Future' not found".
Passive Effect: Equipping this effect causes Fumitsuki to wake up.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the White Candle Path.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the grey door with a green frame in the nexus. Head left until the door is just offscreen, then down and between two dark pillars. Head right. Go southeast and into a pink building. Go northwest and into a red building. The path should have telephone poles and a large building in the background. Go left to get to a new area. Go through the doorway, then head right. Then, go through the last doorway on the right and go in that direction. Go left through a somewhat hidden doorway, then right. Go past the doorway and continue right. Head left, ignoring the doorway again. Keep left until you come out of a doorway with frowning faces. Go through the doorway to the right and keep right. When you exit the next doorway, go through the other doorway, then left until you reach a new room. Go left again to get to Candle World. Go southwest and between two tall, unlit candles to get to the White Candle Path. Go right and interact with the crooked candle.
Neon (ネオン)
Become neon.
Appearance: Fumitsuki takes on a neon appearance.
Passive Effect: NPCs may approach her.
Action: (Shift) The screen flashes white.
Location: Found in Neon Digits World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the light pink-bordered door to Neon Digits World. Head northeast until you find a heart formation of tiles with the number 1, then interact with a one-eyed creature.
Hard Rod (かたいもの)
Hold a hard rod.
Appearance: Fumitsuki wields a hard, metallic rod.
Passive Effect: NPCs may move away from her.
Action: (Action button) Fumitsuki strikes her target with the rod.
Location: Found in Love Letter World.
Practical Uses: Allows Fumitsuki to kill or injure NPCs, which may yield money.
Enter the teal door to Love Letter World, then go southwest of the entrance until you encounter a red one-eyed creature within a circle of love letters, and interact with it.
Statue (せきぞう)
Become a statue.
Appearance: Fumitsuki becomes a strange-looking statue with closed eyes.
Passive Effect: Fumitsuki's movement speed is reduced.
Action: (Shift) Fumitsuki, as a statue, opens her eyes, spitting out blood as the screen shakes.
Location: Found in Forest Path.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the northern glowing door to Neon Hearts World, then go southeast and interact with a glowing box creature, leading to Triangular Tiles Path. Take the upper route when the path diverges, then go all the way to the end and interact with a humanoid stick figure to enter the Forest Path. Go west when the path here diverges, until you find a tentacle-shaped rock to interact with.
Cardboard Box (ダンボール)
Get into a cardboard box.
Appearance: Fumitsuki rides a cardboard box.
Passive Effect: Enhances Fumitsuki's moving speed.
Action: (Shift) Fumitsuki becomes a cardboard box with feet.
Location: Found in Cardboard Box World.
Practical Uses: Allows you to explore the dream world much faster.
Enter the gray door to Cardboard Box World. Head north, going past the gutters. Once the gutters are just offscreen, go right to find a red, humanoid creature riding a cardboard box and interact with it.
Black Flag (くろいはた)
Hold a black flag.
Appearance: Fumitsuki carries a black flag.
Passive Effect: NPCs do not move when equipped.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Puddle Desert.
Practical Uses: Stops NPC movement.
Enter the gray door to Cardboard Box World. Go southeast until you find a pair of plants to go between, then head east to find a statue-like object, leading to the Red Maze. Head southeast and find a narrow path ending in a cul-de-sac with a similar-looking statue. Interact with it to enter a short corridor, leading to the Puddle Desert. Northwest of the entrance is a black flag, interact with it for the effect.
Darling (ダーリン)
I want.
Appearance: Fumitsuki wears a red shirt.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Love Letter Path.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the light pink-bordered door to Neon Digits World. Go northwest to find a doorway to the Teleport Maze A. Interact with doors until the path splits, then take the first door, then the top right door. Go right to get to Snowfall Woods. Go southeast and into a gate that leads to the Love Letter Path. Head over to the end and interact with the bone.
Blindfold (めかくし)
Put on a blindfold.
Appearance: Fumitsuki wears a blindfold.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: None.
Location: Found in the Wrist Cut World.
Practical Uses: None.
- You will need the Hard Rod effect to obtain this effect.
Enter the teal door to Love Letter World, then look for a red passageway northeast of the entrance to a corridor to Black Crimson City. Head right. Go northeast and enter a door, then look for a staircase southwest (more west than south) from where you start from, to a room with a gigantic hand. Open the wrist with the Hard Rod effect, leading to Wrist Cut World. Go northwest from where you start, then west, and south between a pair hands, then up between them to get to a new area. Go up and interact with the humanoid creature.
Fairy (ようせい)
Become a fairy.
Appearance: Fumitsuki becomes a green-colored orb.
Passive Effect: Fumitsuki's color changes as she moves.
Action: (Shift) Fumitsuki bounces for as long as the Shift button is held.
Location: Found in Neon Cube World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the orange door to Neon Cube World. Go north of the entrance for a long wall of stacked cubes, then head east to find a passage that leads to a yellow room with an orb, and interact with it.
Street Lamp (がいとう)
The head becomes a street lamp.
Appearance: Fumitsuki's head becomes a street lamp.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) The streetlamp switches off, sending Fumitsuki back to the Nexus.
Location: Found in Signpost Docks.
Practical Uses: Allows Fumitsuki to return to the Nexus easily.
Enter the brown door with two green squares and a circle to Plant World, then go southeast of the entrance, and interact with a red streetlamp to Signpost Docks. Go all the way north until you find a dead end with a blue streetlight to interact with.
Koitsuki's Effects (Incomplete)
Love (恋)
Appearance: Koitsuki becomes a walking envelope.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) The envelope's seal lifts, revealing a letter inside.
Location: WIP.
Practical Uses: None.

Appearance: Koitsuki holds a box cutter.
Passive Effect: None.

Toy Block (つみき)
Appearance: Koitsuki's head becomes a toy block.
Passive Effect: May make some NPCs change in appearance.
Action: (Shift) Koitsuki raises his arms slightly, while making the block jump.
Location: To be abandoned in Monolith World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the green door to Monolith World, then head northwest of the entrance for a passage, leading to a small horizontal formation of monoliths, then interact with the red cube.
Trash Bin (ゴミばこ)
Appearance: Koitsuki rides a trash bin.
Passive Effect: Enhances Koitsuki's moving speed.
Action: (Shift) Koitsuki hides inside the trash bin.
Location: To be abandoned in an isolated section of Black-Blue World.
Practical Uses: Allows you to explore the dream world much faster.
Enter the purple door to Purple Flower World, and go southeast of the entrance, interacting with a streetlight that leads to Streetlight World. Head over to the east of this world's entrance to find a blue door, leading to an isolated section of Black-Blue World, then interact with the trash bin.
Idol (ぐうぞう)
Appearance: Koitsuki wears a blue shirt.
Passive Effect: May make some NPCs change in appearance.
Action: None.
Location: To be abandoned in Blue Text World.
Practical Uses: None.
Enter the blue door to Black-Blue World, and go south of the entrance and enter a passage on the right portion of a horizontally-arranged wall, leading to Blue Text World. Head southeast and look for a creature with a monitor displaying the number 23 to abandon the effect.
Endings Guide
Fumitsuki's Endings
ED-01
Collect all of Fumitsuki's effects, wake up, and leave the bedroom through the door.
ED-02
Collect all of Fumitsuki's effects, then enter the teal door in the nexus (it should already be open) to get to Love Letter World. Go northeast and enter the building. Head right. Go northeast and enter a door. Go down and interact with the NPC, who should be red if you have all 12 effects. In the new area, go up and interact with the pink NPC. Wake up, and leave the bedroom through the door.
