Overview
.ExE (or dotEXE) is a Yume Nikki fangame made by Fg7, who also created One-WAY. The original version starred Hoshiko, a girl who refused to leave the house. The game has recently been completly re-made and now stars Carrie.
Gameplay
Similar to .flow, .ExE involves entering the dream world from the computer by clicking the .EXE button while on Carrie's PC. The main objective is collecting effects and exploration, and Carrie can wake up by pressing the 9 key. Additionally, wallpapers can be obtained for Carrie's computer, as well as the ability to save. Two doors are locked at the start of the game.
Plot
Not much is known about the plot so far, but Carrie shakes her head and refuses to leave her house, however she can go out and explore other rooms in her house.
