Ignite: Dying Flame - Effects Guide

Frozen

You are frozen solid. Make it snow.

Appearance: Feutsuki becomes frozen version of himself.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (1) Makes it snow or stop snowing.

Location: Found in Frozen Room.

Practical Uses: Pushing the action key once will make some NPCs stop moving.

Enter the Furnace Realm. Go left and down from the door and interact with the gray statue. Walk down and interact with another gray statue. Go south-east and interact with the lamp-post with the flickering white light. Go north-west and interact with the white statue. Interact with the furnace.

Monster

A horrible scary beast.

Appearance: Feutsuki becomes a snake-like monster with a burgundy collar with spikes.

Passive Effect: NPCs move away from him.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Blank Area.

Practical Uses: None.

Enter the Furnace Realm. Go left and down from the door and interact with the gray statue. Walk down and interact with another gray statue. Go up until you're on a road then go left until you're teleported to the Highway. Go left twice and enter the tall structure. This will send you the Blank Area. Go south-west and interact with the big head in the ground.

Dog

Just be a dog... arf

Appearance: Feutsuki turns into a dog.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Insense World.

Practical Uses: None.

Enter the Furnace Realm. Go down a little bit and left from the door. Interact with the candle. Interact with the white candle to your right. Interact with the candle across from you. Interact with the white candle to your left (avoid the chaser). Go north and interact with the dog statue.

Pitchfork

Don't poke your eye out...

Appearance: Feutsuki carries a red demonic trident.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Underground House.

Practical Uses: This effect allows Feutsuki to kill NPCs.

Enter Blue Town. Go north-east to the top-right corner of the map and enter the blue house. Go up through the door further into the house. Go: Down, Left, Up, Right then down and left. Enter the door. Interact with the face on the wall. Wait until the cutscene ends, afterwards go straight up and interact with the pitchfork.

Radio

Music makes things better, return to Nexus.

Appearance: Feutsuki's head becomes a black radio with neon-pink outline.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (1) Feutsuki turns on the toggle and dissolves in the air.

Location: Found in the Cafe of Blue Town.

Practical Uses: This effect allows you to return to the Nexus at will.

Enter Blue Town. Follow the road below you and enter the building near the end of it. Interact with the radio on the stage.

Enter the Boiler World. Go up a bit and left, interact with the huge statue. Go down and interact with another statue. Follow the path of streetlights below you to a blue streetlight. Go back up and interact with the statue. You will get the effect after the cutscene ends.

Pitchfork

Don't poke your eye out.

Appearance: Feutsuki carries a red demonic trident.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (1) Makes it snow or stop snowing.

Location: Found at the Playground.

Practical Uses: This effect allows Feutsuki to kill NPCs.

Enter the Playground. Go north-east and enter the building. Interact with the NPC. Follow them out the building. Go south-west and interact with the corpse.

Wrappings

Wear wrappings.

Appearance: Feutsuki is covered in wrappings.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Graveyard World.

Practical Uses: None.

Enter the Boiler World. Go down a bit and right. Interact with the candle beside the streetlamp. Go down and interact with the candle in the center of the circle. Go right and interact with the candle with the yellow flame to Candle World. Go south-west and interact with the red and black candle to Incense World.

In Incense World go right and up. Interact with the NPC covered in bandages. In Graveyard World, Go north-east and interact with the corpse on the ground.

Radio

Become a radio.

Appearance: Feutsuki's head becomes a grey radio.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (1) Feutsuki turns on the toggle and the screen changes to a dark-grey palette.

Location: Found in Blue Town.

Practical Uses: This effect allows you to return to the Nexus at will.

Enter the Blue Town. Follow the road going down and interact with the NPC with the radio at the end of the path.

Monster

You little monster.

Appearance: Feutsuki becomes a snake-like monster.

Passive Effect: NPCs moves faster.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Blank Area.

Practical Uses: None.

Enter the Boiler World. Go up a bit and left, interact with the huge statue. Go down and interact with another statue. Go down until you reach a road. Walk onto the road and let yourself be hit by the NPC on the scooter. You'll be teleported to the Highway.

Keep walking to the right until you reach an NPC who'll take you to the B/W Zone. Go right once then enter the hole in the structure. Go north-east and interact with the snake-like monster.

Psychologist

Become a Psychologist

Appearance: Feutsuki wears a grey costume with gas mask.

Passive Effect: Rain falls while the effect is equipped.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Asphexia's Room in the Corrupted Office.

Practical Uses: None.

Enter the Boiler World. Go up a bit and left, interact with the huge statue. Go down and interact with another statue. Go down until you reach a road. Walk onto the road and let yourself be hit by the NPC on the scooter. You'll be teleported to the Highway.

Keep walking to the right until you reach an NPC who'll take you to the B/W Zone. Go right once then enter the hole in the structure. Go south and interact with the hooded NPC. Enter the door to your right. Go right and enter the door. Go left and enter the second door from the far left. Go up the hall and enter the door. Enter the door to your right. Interact with the brown cat.

Phantom

Float around

Appearance: Feutsuki becomes a ghost with a red rope on the neck.

Passive Effect: Feutsuki travels at double his walking speed.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Halloween World.

Practical Uses: Can be used to travel through the dream world a lot faster and escape from Chasers a lot easier.

Enter the Boiler World. Go up a bit and left, interact with the huge statue. Go down and interact with another statue. Go down until you reach a road. Walk onto the road and let yourself be hit by the NPC on the scooter. You'll be teleported to the Highway.

Keep walking to the right until you reach an NPC who will take you the B/W Zone. Go right twice and you'll be sent to Halloween World. Go south-east and interact with the phantom NPC.

Furnace

Who needs a heater when you're a furnace?

Appearance: Feutsuki becomes a furnace version of himself.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Tan Building.

Practical Uses: None.

Enter the Playground. Go north-east and enter the building. Enter the door above you. Enter: the door beside you, beside you, the fourth door, fourth door, third door. Interact with the NPC. Interact with the Monochrome NPC to reach Tan Building.

Go right, right, up, up, door furthest to the left, right, turn back, left. Interact with the furnace statue.

Kitten

Become a kitten again

Appearance: Feutsuki becomes a smaller.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: None.

Location: Found in Dream Path.

Practical Uses: None.

Enter the Playground. Go north-east and enter the building. Enter the door above you. Enter: the door beside you, beside you, the fourth door, fourth door, third door. Interact with the NPC. Interact with the Monochrome NPC to reach Tan Building.

Go right, right, up, up, door furthest to the left, right, turn back, left to the Furnace effect room. Go back through the door. Interact with the white cat. Go up to the ice block with steps near it and interact with the kitten.
