Costumes Guide

Maid

Appearance: Lulu wears a dark blue and white maid outfit and wears her hair in a bun.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu spins and a tea tray appears in her hand.

Location: Found in Candlemas, northwest of the Nexus teleport.

Practical Uses: None.

Princess

Appearance: Lulu wears a pink princess dress and conical hat.

Passive Effect: Certain NPCs react differently to this effect, often with positive responses

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu curtseys

Location: Found in the south-west of Lulu's adventure

Practical Uses: None.

Happy Town (north exit) → Moon Viewing (Yellow floor graffiti) → Sparkle World (dual lamps with white spider lily below) → Lulu's Adventure

(If playing version 1.2 or earlier)

Candlemas (south rainbow bridge) → Travel south to the red house. Interact with the white and yellow present on the table.

Clown

Appearance: Lulu wears a purple dress and clown makeup.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu jumps into the air, throwing out confetti.

Location: Found in Classroom Sky

Practical Uses: None.

Japan (bottom right door) → Rice Fields (hole) → Classroom Sky (teru teru bozu decoration) → Classrooms → Roof

Happy Town (north exit) → Right of the entrance. Interact with the white and yellow present.

Cat

Appearance: Lulu wears a cat themed outfit.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu jumps up and strikes a pose.

Location: Found in Sparkle World, north of the teleport from Moon Viewing.

Practical Uses: None.

Happy Town (north exit) → Moon viewing (Yellow floor graffiti) → North and slightly east. Interact with the white and yellow present.

Maiko

Appearance: Lulu wears a Maiko kimono.

Passive Effect: Certain NPCs react differently to this effect.

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu bows.

Location: Found in Japan, northeast of the Nexus teleport.

Practical Uses: None.

Travel north in Japan. Interact with the Maiko npc.

Fairy

Appearance: Lulu becomes a fairy.

Passive Effect: Lulu can float over pits in certain areas to allow for easier movement

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu spins around in the air

Location: Found in Flower Fields

Practical Uses: Lulu can float over pits in certain areas to reach places quicker

Candlemas (southern exit) → New Years (blank orange sign) → Flower Fields

Hone-Onna

Appearance: Lulu becomes a Hona-Onna, a skeleton woman

Passive Effect: Darkened areas will automatically be lightened

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu waves her lantern

Location: City Streets

Practical Uses: Makes dark areas easier to navigate

Happy Town (train) → Station (eastern exit) → Happy Street (north-western exit) → Alleys (door, random chance upon interaction) → City Streets

Gingerbread

Appearance: Lulu becomes a Gingerbread person

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu shrinks down into a blob. Pressing the action button again in this form allows her to grow to full size again.

Location: Birthday Girl’s Room

Practical Uses: Lulu can retract into the ground and pass under certain barriers.

Candlemas (southern exit) → New Years → Birthday Girl's Room

Bunny

Appearance: Lulu wears a fluffy yellow dress and bunny ears

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu hops in place

Location: Bunny Hutch

Practical Uses: Lulu can jump across gaps and over barriers

Winter (lodge door) → Winter Lodge (painting on ground floor) → Bunny Hutch

Lined

Appearance: Lulu takes on an appearance similar to the Lined Girl and wields a pair of scissors

Passive Effect: Sparks unique dialogue or events from certain NPCs

Action: (Pushing the action button) Lulu glitches.

Location: The Lined Room

Practical Uses: Allows Lulu to reach the secret ending

Happy Town (Lined girl, random chance upon entering area) → Lined World (items required) → The Lined Room

The player requires four items and must have seen the Both ending to access this Costume.

Events Guide

Maiden's Room

In Happy Town, travel northeast to the castle. Along the bottom of the castle are tiles that spell out LSD. Walk right until up against the wall and you will be automatically teleported to the Maidens Room. The iron maidens will swarm Lulu and after a short wait and a round of applause, she will wake up abruptly.

Photo Studio

In Candlemas, travel left from the Nexus teleport and interact with the door of the blue house to enter. Inside, speak to the blue MAID and she'll ask if Lulu wants to have her photograph taken. If Lulu accepts, the MAID will ask if she wants one with her (a blue maid) or MARGERINE (a pink maid). Choosing one or the other decides which MAID will appear in the photo with Lulu. A visual will appear once Lulu chooses and the MAIDS will talk about the picture. Once done, the MAID bids Lulu farewell. You can now view the picture at any time in your items section of your menu. The event cannot be done more than once.

Funtime Performance

In Candlemas, head northeast towards the tree cutout then travel east to the orange sign with no writing on it. Interact with the sign and you'll be teleported to Funtime. There is a switch on the wall above Lulu and if you press it, the lights will turn on. Lulu is transported in front of the stage and the animatronics will perform to her. Talking to the singer gives Lulu some short dialogue.

Aubergine's Spot

In Happy Town, head north to the blue archways. Interact with the black clothed npc hiding behind the arch. She will introduce herself as Aubergine and start to play hide and seek with Lulu. After she runs off, travel to the southwest part of the map by the railway tracks and interact with her again. Then head east towards the two girls drawing on the ground. Interact with Aubergine once more and return to the spot where you first found her. Interacting with her again takes you to Aubergine's spot. Head north and interact with Aubergine to trigger an event where she and Lulu chat. Any dialogue choices in the conversation don't make a difference to anything. Once done, Lulu will receive the Plastic Rose that will allow her to return to the Nexus. Heading south and leaving the area will return Lulu to Happy Town and Aubergine will be gone.

OIL Tower

In Winter, travel northwest to above the large tree and interact with the snowman with closed eyes. This will transport Lulu to OIL. Head north (avoiding the one-way teleport to the west above the first bug npc) towards the tower at the top of the map. Walk into the entrance and Lulu will be teleported to OIL tower. Proceed north and dialogue with Touma will appear. An event plays out and eventually, Lulu will return to her kitchen, now awake. She will have received a Handmade Bracelet from Touma.

Removed Events

Happy Town Ambush

In Happy Town, head north towards the yellow house and interact with the SISTER npc. She will jump and run into the house. Follow her inside and walk north. Once Lulu gets far enough, the SISTER will appear at the entrance and chase her. If Lulu is caught the screen fades out and punches are heard. As the screen fades in, Lulu slowly gets up off the ground. If Lulu leaves the house before the SISTER appears, manages to run away without being caught or returns to the area, she won't be able to enter the house again and the SISTER will be gone.

Endings Guide

All endings require Lulu to have collected all costumes. The endings are decided on what choices you make in the final scene and the items you've collected from events.

In Winter, travel southwest and interact with the storybook on the snow. This will transport Lulu to the Dream Apartments. Interact with the doors twice until Lulu is at the bottom of the map. Head west and interact with the blue calendar on the wall (this teleport will not activate if Lulu doesn't have all the costumes). After being teleported, travel east or west and walk through the teacup and stool to teleport to the next area. Walking up in this final area will trigger the final cutscene.

Bad Ending

When talking to LOVELY, when given the option to 'Do something?' choose 'Stay quiet...'. The screen will fade out and return you to the title screen.

Regular Ending

To get the regular ending, Lulu must have not met Aubergine or Touma.

Touma Ending

To get the Touma exclusive ending, Lulu must have only met Touma in OIL (see OIL Tower event above).

Amilia Ending

To get the Amilia exclusive ending, Lulu must have only met Aubergine in Happy Town (see Aubergine's Spot event above).

Both Ending

To get the true ending, Lulu must have met both Touma and Aubergine.
