Overview
Mementos is a Yume Nikki fangame created by adanteallegro for the 2017 Dream Diary Jam. It stars a girl named Pure.
Gameplay
Mementos is a traditional fangame. You start the game asleep and you reach the Nexus by interacting with the shining object on your rug. Once you enter the deeper part of the dream world you can't go back.
Your goal in the game is to collect all the mementos to escape. You can return to the Nexus by pressing Shift and you save by using the notebook in your inventory.
Plot
One day, a strange black mist covers the sky. The members of a village are sent into a deep sleep after inhaling the mist. After waking in the dream world, they find their only way to escape is to go further into the dream world and collect mementos to return to reality.
The protagonist, Pure, is the next person to attempt this task and she is determined to succeed.
