Overview
Miso Nikki (みそにっき) is a less known legendary Yume Nikki Fangame by an unknown creator from 2ch. It had stopped releasing since a very long time. Very few people have it, so it had became into merely a legend. It cannot be found on the internet anymore because the download site had vanished a long time ago. Very little information on this game that can be gathered from Nicovideo and Japanese AtWiki. It has only one gameplay video on Nicovideo.
Gameplay
You control Misotsuki (みそつき), a character similar with Madotsuki design, to collect 6 Miso (orbs), equip effects and discover an ending. Here, apparently, you cannot collect an effect, just wear it until you replace it with a different one.
Plot
The game starts in a round white room which serves as the game's nexus and bears an assortment of five unusual items. Three of them are doors to other worlds/dream worlds. One of the items is an effect and another one of them is a pink tentacle that turns the screen yellow when interacted with.
It is unknown what kind of place is the room where the game starts, or how did Misotsuki get there.
There appears to be an ending after you collect the six Miso (orbs).
Effects
- Kiritanpo (きりたんぽ) - Misotsuki holds one Kiritanpo, a food which is usually served with sweet miso. However, she uses it as her weapon.
- Hide and Seek (かくれんぼ) - Misotsuki becomes all black except for her eyes.
- Bamboo Shoot (タケノコ) - Misotsuki has a brown bamboo shoot growing from her head.
