Miso Nikki (みそにっき) is a lesser-known Yume Nikki Fangame developed by an unknown 2ch member, referencing a meme on the site. Due to its scarce downloads, removal from the internet and general mystery, the game has become somewhat of a legend. The most information that can be found on the game is a single gameplay video on Nicovideo.

Gameplay

The protagonist is Misotsuki (みそつき), a Madotsuki recolor. The goal is to collect 6 Miso (orbs) along with effects. In this game, effects cannot be held in the inventory and are therefore collected one at a time.

Plot

The game starts in a round white room which serves as the game's nexus and bears an assortment of five unusual items. Three of them are doors to other worlds/dream worlds. One of the items is an effect and another one of them is a pink tentacle that turns the screen yellow when interacted with.

It is unknown what kind of place is the room where the game starts, or how Misotsuki got there.

There appears to be an ending after you collect the six Miso (orbs).
