Effects Guide (incomplete)

UFO

Take the leftmost door from the Nexus to enter the dancing robot world. Somewhere in this area is a large, dark gray pile of refuse. Interact with it to be taken to a dump of sorts. Exit the area from the south to reach the ruined village. Travel all the way left to reach the volcano. There is a small chance there will be a UFO landed here. If it is not there, you can travel between the village and volcano many times until it arrives. Because it is a chance-based event it may take some time but don't give up! Once inside the UFO, take the right corridor and follow it up until you find a mini UFO which you can interact with to get this effect.

Car

When you enter the Nexus for the first time, a NPC will enter the dancing robot world. Follow her into the door and go north until you see a road. Interact with the car to retrieve the effect.

Zombie

Enter the door with the pyramid on it and head east until you find a purple entrance. This should take you to a desert, where you'll find a dead body. Interact with the body for the zombie effect.

TV

In the dancing robot world, there is a large television set. Enter it and wander around the world until you find a unique TV set. Interacting with it will give you the effect.

Fire Extinguisher

Enter the door with the florence flask on it (southernmost from the Nexus). Enter the Lab, the building with the blue dome slightly south from the entrance from the Nexus and go through the double doors on the ground floor. By navigating the ground floor corridors you will find a fire extinguisher, which you can interact with to get the effect.

Golf Club

In the dancing robot world is a large machine. Interact with it and be transported to a lab in a neighborhood. In one of the houses is a set of stairs. Go down the stairs and interact with the golf club.

Moai

~YOU WILL NEED THE FIRE EXTINGUISHER TO GET THIS EFFECT~ Enter the door with the pyramid. Travel east until you reach the tower with the sand spilling out of it. Go inside the tower to reach the Desert. From here travel north west until you reach a building. Once inside, take the right path, and follow this path up until you reach a hidden door. This should transport you to a tower. Begin to climb the stairs and you'll soon see signs telling you to turn back. Ignore them. Keep travelling up to the top of the tower - it will take a long time, don't give up! - until you reach the top. Put out the leftmost fire and bring Lee Jin Hui to the edge of the tower. She will jump off into an enclosed area where you can interact with the moai statue to get the effect.

Plant

Enter the door with the sprout. Head south-west until you find a square arrangement of flowers. Just to the right of the square is a small grassy area with one red flower. Interact with the red flower to get the effect.

Paper

Enter the door with the paper airplane on it. Go north until you see vertical paper(with shadow), go west until you see vertical paper's shadow. And go north you see the paper with blue paints. Interacting with it will give you the effect.

Long Hair

Enter the door with the bloody hand on it. Travel directly south and you'll see a white patch with a mannequin in the centre. Interact with it to get the effect.

Weather

Enter the door with the bloody hand on it. Go south west until you find an arm in the ground that is completely black and white. You'll find yourself in a White Desert. Look for a monochrome sun and interact with it to take you to a world with blue grass and wandering rock-like NPCs. Located somewhere in this small-ish world is a cone surrounded by 4 panels. Interact with it to get the effect.

Sign

Follow the instructions to getting the moai effect until you reach the tower with the signs telling you to turn back. This time, follow the signs and turn back once you've climbed high enough to lose sight of the rest of the building. You should be transported to a sky-themed area. Travel north east from the entrance to find a spinning sign on a post. Interact with it to get this effect.

Potion

Enter the door with the florence flask on it (southernmost from the Nexus). Located in a north-west direction from where you entered is a pink potion bottle. Interact with it to get the effect.

Goggles

Enter the door with the sprout on it. Head in a generally south-east direction until you see a green-ish vortex which will bring you out at a beach. Travel east on the beach until you find a cactus surrounded by an inverted U shape of water. Interact with the cactus to be teleported to a similar-looking beach. Head north-west from the entry point until you find a man sunbathing. He will give you the effect when interacted with.

Red Hair

~YOU WILL NEED BOTH THE SCHOOL UNIFORM AND GOLF CLUB EFFECTS TO GET THIS EFFECT~ Take the leftmost door from the Nexus to the dancing robot world. Travel south until you find a line of dancing robots. Follow the line until you see the large, strange-looking tower near the top of the screen. Interacting with this will take you to the lab in the village. Exit the lab, and leave the village from the left exit to get to the school. Instead of going through the glass doors, head left around the school through a small gap in the wall. Equip your school uniform and a red-haired student will begin to chase you. If they catch you they will section you off like any chaser, so it would be handy to have the Moai effect in case you don't make it the first time. Once the red-haired student is chasing you, equip your golf club and hit the student with it to get this effect.

Guitar

~YOU WILL NEED THE POTION EFFECT TO GET THIS EFFECT~ The zombie effect is also recommended. Follow the instructions for the fire extinguisher effect to reach the laboratory. On the bottom floor, loop around and avoid the double doors that would lead you to the next floor up. Instead, enter the single closed door to come to a corridor lined with capsules with what look like people inside. Use the potion effect and you will be teleported to a pink-hued world filled with chasers. It may look formidable, but the area is only small, but may seem bigger because it loops. Located in this area, near a male chaser with a black shirt and blue jeans, is a guitar. Interacting with the guitar will give you the effect.

Black Hole

Follow the UFO effect instructions to reach the UFO. You may or may not need to equip the UFO effect to perform this correctly. Exit the flying saucer while you can see it still clearly going through space from the windows at the topmost part of the UFO. You will be transported to a space-like area. It doesn't loop, and is bounded on all sides by white, so don't worry about getting lost. Somewhere in the non-white part of the map is a large black hole. Interact with it to get this effect.

Endings Guide (incomplete)

Good End

Enter the dream world and immediately get into bed, transporting yourself to the beach. Deposit your effects onto the pedestals by equipping them one by one. When all of them are equipped, an object will appear on the large stone north of the pedestals. Take it and wake up. Interact with the door.

Bad End

Follow the instructions for the good end but deposit only the effects with no red in their icons. You should be left with:

  • Red hair
  • Rope
  • Mask
  • Flame
  • Metal
  • Smoke
  • Car

A different object will appear on the large rock. Take it and wake up. Interact with the chair.

True End

This ending is unobtainable without seeing at least one of the other two endings. In the waking world you should see a glowing spot on your bookshelf. Interacting with it and looking at the 4th option down (the other three allow you to listen to the game's music, rewatch either of the previous endings youve gotten or read the instructions for the UFO) will show you a story book detailling events you must see before being able to see the true ending. Each page will dim once you have seen the event, and once all pages are dimmed the true ending will be available.
