Memories Guide

Bubblegum

MumaRopeBubblegum.png

Appearance: A wriggling piece of chewed-up bubblegum.

Location: Found in the Memory Room.

Begin the tutorial of the game, and follow the directions on screen. Walk to the end of the room and interact with the door, then return to the Memory Room. The memory will be present just below where you spawn, walk over it to obtain it.

Rose

MumaRopeRose.png

Appearance: A red rose swaying from side to side.

Location: Found in First Steps.

Exit the Memory Room through the door at the bottom, then climb the stairs and enter the white doorway to enter First Steps. Heading slightly southeast will take you to a black bunny, where the memory can be found just below it.

White Square

MumaRopeSquare.png

Appearance: A hovering white square with a smaller black square inside of it.

Location: Found in White Shores.

From First Steps, follow the trail of papers to find and interact with the computer. This will bring you to the Retro Dungeon, from here, go right and be wary of the spikes, the three circles on the ground, that will deplete your health. Continue down, try to avoid the slimes and heal if you need to until you reach White Shores. Once there, head left and slightly north to find the White Square, right in front of a door that brings you back to the Memory room.

Coral

MumaRopeCoral.png

Appearance: A piece of bright red red coral.

Location: Found in the Undersea Expanse.

Follow the instruction in the White Square guide to reach White Shores. From there, go directly down to find the diving board. Interact with it to be brought to the Undersea Expanse. Once there, go north and interact with the greenish yellow seaweed to pick it up and feed it to the blue fish (interact with the blue fish to see what the seaweed looks like). The fish will then let you ride it so you can access the other “islands” (once you get off the fish you will need to feed it again). Go up and slightly left to find the bright red coral.

Umbrella

MumaRopeUmbrella.png

Appearance: A purple and red striped umbrella with a red handle.

Location: Found in Rainforest Road.

From First Steps, head to the Black Waters by either diving off the cliff or going through the secret doorway directly right of the cliff (once unlocked). Move to the right until the area's monochrome signs transition into colorful red and green ones, which indicates that you have entered Rainforest Road. Continue down the road until you see a gap in the fencing directly below you, then head through it. Move to the left until you find a small clearing beyond the fence, then head south. Take the eastern path, then head south once more through the path marked by three signs stacked vertically. Once you've reached another road, go right to find a tree that appears to block you from going any further. You can simply go behind it, however, and loop around the fence to obtain the Umbrella that seemed just out of reach.

Soda

MumaRopeSoda.png

Appearance: A red soda can with a white stripe down its side and OK written on it.

Location: Found in the Swimming Pool.

Once you arrive in the Black Waters, go left and enter the grey tunnel on the far side of the map to reach Overgrown Rust. Go left and down until you find a brown ladder leaning against a rusty tower. Interact with it to be brought to Blue Flow. From there, go left, left, down and right using the bridges and then go through the small door in the rock to be brought to the Swimming Pool. Go through the right revolving gate and through the changing stations and straight down the hall. Enter the Swimming Pool using the ladder and exit on the other side. A speech bubble with appear above Muma's head with the Soda inside of it indicating she's thirsty. Exit the opposite way you came in and interact with the vending machine (this will not take any coins) to obtain the Soda.

Snowglobe

MumaRopeSnowglobe.gif

Appearance: A snowglobe featuring a miniature brown house with a red roof depicted inside.

Location: Found in Pink Snowscape.

Follow the instruction in the Umbrella guide to reach the Rainforest Road. After going through the fence, take a right until you hit a dead end. Next, go south (ignoring the thin path through the trees), east, and south again and enter the igloo with a blue sign in front of it. You should now be in the Pink Snowscape, and heading directly north from the igloo will take you to the Snowglobe, which can be found resting on a pile of snow. Interact with it to obtain it.

Beach Ball

MumaRopeBall.png

Appearance: A white and blue striped beach ball.

Location: Found in the Red Sands B Settlement.

Once you arrive in the Black Waters, go left and enter the grey tunnel on the far side of the map to reach Overgrown Rust. Head slightly west, then south until you see another tunnel entrance enclosed in a circle of buildings. Enter the building from the side, then cross the room inside. You should now be in the Desert Settlement within Red Sands B. Go north past the building directly east of the building you entered the area from, and enter the doorway of the building you just approached. Go down the staircase on your left, then traverse the underground passage and climb the staircase on the far right. Exit the building and head directly left, entering the bottom house. After going inside, interact with the girl throwing the ball against the wall and she will disappear with a whimper. This leads to the Beach Ball bouncing across the floor, which can now be obtained.

Cassette Tape

MumaRopeCassette.png

Appearance: A cassette tape dripping with blood.

Location: Found in the Occult Basement.

Once you arrive in the Black Waters, go right and enter the open doorway with an NPC beside it to reach Lamp World. Use the light switches to find an open manhole with a ladder leading down to get to the Occult Basement. Here, interact to squish the four pulsating hearts around the basement, then enter the room with the pentagram (the arrows on the floor all lead to it) to find the Cassette Tape.

Balloon

MumaRopeBalloon.png

Appearance: A red balloon.

Location: Found in the Monochrome Building.

Follow the instruction in in the Cassette Tape guide to reach Lamp World. Once there, use the light switches to locate a tall, white building. Once you enter it, go through the two rooms to reach the Elevator and interact with the left button four times to reach the top floor. Go right, down the hallway to reach a balcony, where the Balloon is tied to the railing.

Sword

MumaRopeSword.png

Appearance: A silver, pixel art styled sword with a golden hilt.

Location: Found in the Monochrome Building.

Follow the instruction in the Balloon guide to reach the Monochrome building. Once there, go through the two rooms to reach the Elevator and interact with the left button one time to reach the second floor. Go down the hall and up the small set of stairs leading to Unicorn Woods. Find and interact with the Arcade Machine to change the area into a pink and purple unicorn infested area. This part has RPG elements with a health bar and a health station. A sword should be located to your left around some trees.

It can be used to attack and kill the unicorns. A coin will appear in front of the Arcade Machine once all of them are killed.

Winged Boots

MumaRopeBoots.png

Appearance: A shiny, brown, pixel art styled boot with pink wings.

Location: Found in Cave of Perils.

Follow the instruction in the Balloon guide to reach the Monochrome Building. Once there, go through the two rooms to reach the Elevator and interact with the left button three times to reach the third floor. From there, go to the fifth door on your left and interact with the game console to reach the Cave of Perils. This area is a platformer styled game, with enemies to avoid and rooms to get through. Continue right until you reach an area that has to exits and go down and to your left. Eventually you should reach a room with a smiley face made out of rocks and the Winged Boots below it. This will give you the ability to double jump in the Cave of Perils.

Coins Guide

The coins found throughout the dream world serve almost no purpose as currency, but are instead key to unlocking some of the game's endings.

In the Memory Room

Follow the instructions on screen to get through the game tutorial. When you've returned to the Memory Room, there will be a coin just below the Bubblegum memory.

In Rainforest Road

Head to the right in Black Waters until red and green colored signs replace the monochrome ones usually present. Once at the Rainforest Road, head down into the gap in the fence below you and move left, stopping when you've reached a small clearing amongst the trees. Head south from here, then take the western path shortly after. At the end of this path is a coin that is partially obscured by trees in the bottom left corner of the clearing.

In Lamp World

Head to Black Waters and head right until you reach the open doorway to reach Lamp World. Once there, use the light switches to light up the paths. The coin is in a section just above the entrance to the Monochrome Building.

In Blue Flow

Once you arrive in the Black Waters, go left and enter the grey tunnel on the far side of the map to reach Overgrown Rust. Go left and down until you find a brown ladder leaning against a rusty tower. Interact with it to be brought to Blue Flow. From there, go left and down to find the coin.

In the Swimming Pool

Once you arrive in the Black Waters, go left and enter the grey tunnel on the far side of the map to reach Overgrown Rust. Go left and down until you find a brown ladder leaning against a rusty tower. Interact with it to be brought to Blue Flow. From there, go left, left, down and right using the bridges and then go through the small door in the rock to be brought to the Swimming Pool. Go through the right revolving gate and through the changing stations and interact with the twelfth locker in the middle to find the coin.

Endings Guide

Warning: The following endings contain heavy themes of suicide and other dark themes. Proceed at your own discretion.

Ending #0

MumaRope Ending0.png

This ending requires no memories to have been collected and can be acheived at any point during the game (as long as another event isn't active). By heading north in the Memory Room and interact with the chair, Muma will position herself within the noose and stand on the chair. After a few seconds, the chair will begin to shake and will be knocked over on its side, causing Muma to be hanged in the process.
