Overview

P.S.Rose is a Yume Nikki fangame made by Hangaku (半額) (Pixiv) in WOLF RPG Editor. So far this game has 5 effects, all of them are flower/plant-related. This game has places that reference .flow, Ib and Yume Nikki, of course. It also bears a fangames reference room.

Gameplay

You play as Baratsuki (ばらつき). Enter the nexus directly through the door in her room; save the game by interacting with the calendar on the wall in her room. There are 5 (4 according to the readme file) effects scattered in the world outside of Baratsuki's door. Currently, none of these effects have special actions. You can return to her room by choosing the second option in her menu, then pressing confirm on the next window.

Plot

Not much known about Baratsuki or what kind of world she is exploring after exiting her bedroom. According to the in-game descriptions, Baratsuki has brown hair with a bright red highlight. She wears colourful rough clothes which appear to be hot to wear, and brown boots which are a little too big.

Due to this game being at its early stages, many things have yet to be implemented. Therefore, unlike most games, so far it has no animations, moving NPC, killable NPC, chasers, events, endings, effect actions and interactions that require effects.

Effects

Rhododendron (シャクナゲ)		The speed effect. Baratsuki is seated inside a Rhododendron, which name originated from Ancient Greek words that mean "Rose" and "Tree".
Aconite (トリカブト)		The weapon effect. Baratsuki has a blue poisonous flower and a leaf growing out of her right eye and right part of her head. The bottom part of her outfit has more yellow than red, unlike her usual form.
Muscari (ムスカリ)		Baratsuki becomes tiny, and she has something blue and wing-like on her back. Presumably, according to this effect's title, this is Muscari or Grape Hyacinth, a plant with small blue bell-shaped flowers.
Ginger (ジンジャー)		Baratsuki has a ginger root/flower and a leaf on her head. Her right cheek turns pink. (It is barely noticeable)
Laurel (月桂樹)		Baratsuki wears a laurel wreath with yellow flowers on her head.
