Overview

Roblox: Dream Emulator is a fangame by svr (also known as MrExe) made in Roblox. It contains primarily his own dreams. This game is also gonna be released as a traditional Yume Nikki fangame made in RPG Maker under the title "My Dreams".

Gameplay

The game's gameplay is nearly the same as any Yume Nikki fangame except in 3D. You can collect effects and explore the dream world as you wish.

Plot

The current plot is unknown, a reappearing character seems to be an oversized dark eye though, which is named The Ruler. The creator recalls this entity appearing in his childhood nightmares several times, so he places a role to it of a "dream antagonist". It's likely the dream network is ran by this entity too.

Effects

The effects are currently still under a testing phase, so bugs with them happen.

Sickle		You get a sickle which can be used to kill dream characters. Found in the Ritual Room during The Ruler event.
Lantern		Lights up your path. Recommended before entering pitch black worlds. Found in the Mushroom World.
Rainbow Gun		A gun that shoots out rainbow. Good for combating kill on touch characters. Found inside the castle and requires the Rocket Boots or the Donor Coil to obtain.
Running Coil		Allows you to run twice as fast. Found at the end of the Mushroom Path.
Rocket Boots		Allows you to jump higher. Found inside an Industrial World reactor core.
Almond Water		Heals your health and increases max health. Found in The Backrooms.

Main Locations

Main locations are classified by being enterable from The Rift at the start of the game.

The Rift		Aka the Nexus, is the starter area of the game and contains 12 portals to the main dream worlds. It connects the entire dream network.
Mushroom World		The first ever world created in the game even before The Rift. The Lantern effect can be found here. At the end of the path the entrance to the school can be found.
Mushroom Path		A checkered path of mushrooms covered in eyes on both sides. It contains jumpscares and also the Running Coil effect at the end of it.
Happy World		This world is made of rainbow tiles. It contains the Rainbow Gun effect inside the castle.
Ritual Room		A giant room with a chandelier in the middle. After some time, The Ruler event starts and the Sickle effect can be gathered.
Cloud Gate		A large gate made of cloud in middle of a plain. The gate leads to the Dark World.
Industrial World		A gridded city of factories and chimneys surrounded by a polluted ocean. The Rocket Boots effect can be found here.
Ritual Stage		Described as a mall's parking lot with a giant stage on it. After some time, The Ruler event starts and acts in a simillar manner as the Ritual Room one.
Blank World		A white empty world only containing a maze of queue lines.
House World		A foggy world made of timbered houses. Jumping off from the top of the tallest house will teleport you to the Wood Path.
Normal Plain		A green plain with various buildings. It contains two backrooms entrances and an entrance to the Dark World (by touching the character inside the tallest skyscraper)
Christmas World		A dim world with two apartment buildings loaded with christmas decorations, seperated by a road and plaza with a christmas tree. It is quite possibly the most pleasant place in the game.
Apartment World		An underground apartment complex. The whole area has a very melancholic atmosphere, supported more by the sad-looking people found around the map. Once a while a robotic abomination spawns, named Jackhammer Lite, which runs around very fast and kills players on sight. One of the metal doors, which has exit above it contains a staircase to The Basement.

Deeper locations

Deeper locations are classified by being enterable only inside dream worlds and not from The Rift. Entrances to them are either obvious or hidden.

Wood Path		A green-tinted wooden path with various rooms inside it.
Dark World		A pitch-black maze. It is highly recommended to get the Lantern before entering this world. The dark world serves a purpose simillar to The Rift being a connection to deeper dream worlds.
The Backrooms		Characterized by a series of rooms with yellow-tinted wallpaper and carpet with buzzing fluorescent lights. The Almond Water effect can be found here. It can be entered from the Normal Plain or the Dark World.
School		A large indoor area described as a slightly devastated school complex. Inside the gymnasium is a hole with a broken bridge over it. Jumping into it teleports you to The Void. It can be entered from the Mushroom World or the Dark World.
The Void		A dark area filled with giant eyes in a very distorted way. It is entered by falling into the void hole inside the school gymnasium.
The Basement		A shelf labyrinth with Jackhammer following you around, it is a much bigger version of Jackhammer Lite.
Green Space		A large area which seems to be green-tinted space. It begins on an Earth-like planet where you can get a spaceship and fly to different planets.
Leon's Funworld		Technically not directly apart of the game, but there are two teleports within the game that lead here. One in Wood Path and another in the Happy World. It is an indoor playground with horror elements.
Kindergarten		Also called the Ritual Window, it is an indoor area with a window that looks at a Ritual Stage in the distance with The Ruler event happening. The event does not directly affect the area though. It can be entered from the Wood Path.
The Haunted Ballroom		An abandoned old-fashioned ballroom with a gramophone that plays The Caretaker's music. It can be accessed in the Industrial World.
