Overview

Rooftop is an English Yume Nikki fangame created by Zapras in RPG Maker 2003.

Gameplay

Rooftop is a traditional fangame. The player can sleep in the bed to enter the dream world and save by using the book on the desk. The goal of the game is to explore and obtain effects.

Controls

Move - Arrow Keys
Interact/Select - Z/Enter
Open Menu/Cancel - X/Esc

Plot

You explore Lani's dream world.

Trivia

- Most of the game textures, backgrounds and spritesheets were made in Paint.Net, but other few ones such as the Feline Horizont and Cat World were made in Aseprite.

- The music loops for the game were made by Zapras in a free program called LMMS, but one track (Underground Black Zone) Was made by Roland, or also known as AkiraKojima.

- The game started development on May 30th of 2022 and released the first version on September 20th, 2022

- The middle painting on the Underground Black Zone is a tribute to Michigun, a Geometry Dash player who sadly passed away the 30th of March of 2021, being annouced by Viprin on his twitter ΔΔΔ.
