Overview
Safety is a Yume Nikki fangame created by Moga, the creator of May. It has an alternate continuity named Safety: Life Is A Maze.
Safety and Safety: Life Is A Maze were originally unrelated games. The original Safety was connected to Life Is A Maze in version 1.2 with a graphics and story update, with the character Iola being replaced with Mina. However, Moga has since stated on their Tumblr blog that they plan to separate the continuity of the games again in a future update.
Gameplay

- Walk into/press z or Enter: interact, attack, talk.
- Press x, Esc: Cancel.
- Shift: Menu, save.
..Explanation..
The beginning of the game is mostly story; once you begin actual gameplay there will be very little story to guide you.
Here are some things to keep in mind: To open doors and move forward you must fulfill certain conditions. Some involve keys, some involve items - Some involve out of the box thinking to complete - try everything!
There are many treasures to collect, which will help in completing the game- most are revealed when you open doors on a floor. Not every treasure is revealed in the same way though.
There are several tiers of monsters - if a tier above yours attacks you, you will be damaged. You have limited health, once it is depleted - you will die.
