Overview

Another Way is a Yume Nikki fangame made by FenrirDarkWolf (DeviantArt).

You play as Drake, a mad scientist whose trapped himself in his lab. He can explore his subconscious via the teleporter in his lab.

Gameplay

Another Way is a traditional-styled fangame, explore and collect effects, called Experiments in this game.

Experiments are used with the Shift key, and you can return to the Lab with the Return button from the main menu.

Plot

There is little to no plot. Just exploring a mad scientist's subconscious. Drake's reasons for exploring it may range from pure curiosity to self-experimentation to just for fun.

Effects

Effects are called Experiments in this game. There are currently 10 to collect. You can unequip effects with the "Normality" option in the Experiments screen.

Effect	Image	Description
Blueberry		Drake's head get's replaced with a blueberry.
Wolf		Drake becomes an anthropomorphic wolf. His speed increases.
Sharpshooter		Drake carries a rifle. He can kill NPCs with it.
Electric		Drake turns electric, making it rain. Pressing Shift will make lightning flash and thunder clap.
Cor Anglais		Drake plays a Cor Anglais, or an English Horn. Pressing Shift will make him play three notes.
Zeppelin		Turns Drake into a Zeppelin. Allows him to fly over gaps.
Russian Doll		Drake turns into a Matryoshka doll. Pressing Shift allows him to warp back to the Nexus.
Woman		Drake becomes a woman. Turn male chasers neutral, but turns female chasers hostile.
Lawyer		Drake becomes a lawyer. Pressing shift will cause him to object, making NPC's stop. Pressing it again will make them move again.
Small		Drake turns tiny. Allows him to pass through small holes.
