Overview

Connected Dreams (or CD Dream abbreviated) is a Yume Nikki fangame by Dails and the Spanish speaking community of Yume Nikki Amino, starring 2 girls named Nika and Mota. According to the creator, the game that will possess several game mechanics such as the implementation of HP bars, Humor bars, classic RPG-style potions, car races and bosses.

Gameplay

Version 0.0.2.10

Connected Dreams plays similarly to a traditional fangame. The goal is to explore and find items. At the start of the game, the player is given a choice of which protagonist to play as. After that, they can switch over by talking to the other character. The player can save from the menu.

One unique feature of this game is a collectible CD compartment that allows the player to assign the effects of their choices to the 1, 2, 3 or 4 hotkeys, allowing for quick effect equipping. The game also includes a combat system.

Version 0.001

Version 0.001 does not have specific plot or effects, the only objective is to explore the different worlds of the nexus and interact with NPCs.

One feature it implements is that the game has 2 simultaneous characters, which you can interact with, and perform actions such as talking and experiencing mood swings.

There is also a racing minigame in this version where you can ride a car; accelerating and skidding.

Pieces (Pieƶas)		Mota is made of little pieces. Pressing Q makes her break apart for a second before reassembling.
Parkour		Mota wears sports attire. Pressing Q makes Nika jump on Mota's back, allowing both of them to climb and reach certain areas.
Scientist (Científica)		Mota dresses like a scientist, she can create Potions and Poison for Nika and herself.
Scribble (Garabato)		Mota becomes a scribbly outline. Pressing Q turns both her and Nika into scribbles and they can move through painting's frames, but they should use ink spots to keep save scribble form.
Cutter		Mota yields a sword as a weapon.
