Though it seems widely referenced in the Japanese ''Yume Nikki'' fangame community, little is known about the game among Western gamers, as the unfinished version was taken out of public circulation by its author five years ago.

==Game Mechanics==
==Overview==
What sets Delusions apart from other fangames is the limiting concept of consecutive effects -- instead of exploring the wide dreamworld sandbox, the player is necessitated to collect effects and enter worlds in a certain order, and only once this task has been completed can they receive one of the two endings.

On March 18 2018 the author released Version 0.03 which had been made in WOLF RPG Editor. While Kazaguruma was the only playable character in that version, the author stated that Jose might be playable in future versions. This was confirmed with the release of Version 0.04d a month later, where Jose became available to play again.

Kazaguruma's side of the game starts in a pretty dull bedroom that she cannot leave. There is a plushie of what happens to be a chaser, as well as the traditional desk where you can save and a bed.

Once unlocked, Jose's side of the game starts in his bedroom. The hall outside his bedroom can be entered, but trying to head outside the hall results in Jose walking back. Aside from a neighboring bedroom, all doors are locked. To the left of Jose's room is his sister's room, which looks near identical to Jose's.

An interesting detail is that, when the lights are off, both protagonists will fall asleep faster, while it will take way longer when they're on, breaking the traditional countdown to 3 most fangames have.

Overview

Kudaranu Mousou No (くだらぬ妄想の, Ridiculous Delusion) is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame originally created in RPG Maker 2000 by Melth. It stars Kazaguruma and Jose . Though it was widely referenced in the Japanese fangame community, it was obscure to Western fans due to the unfinished version being taken out of public circulation by its author in 2011 and remaining unobtainable until 2015.

Gameplay

Unlike other fangames, Kudaranu Mousou No introduces the concept of linear locations. Instead of exploring the entire dream world at once, the player is required to enter worlds and collect effects one at a time in order to reach an ending.

Plot
