Overview

Madoro-Mu (まどろ夢, Window Dream) is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame created by Tumehagi in RPG Maker 2000. It stars Isokishi.

Ver.0.07 is a remake of the original game, removing some locations (and effects) in the previous versions but refining and expanding existing areas.

Gameplay

Like most fangames, Isokishi starts the game in her bedroom. However, she uses her bed to save and exits her room directly to the Nexus.

Rather than having a nexus full of doors, Isokishi's nexus consists of three windows. One is nailed shut until later in the game. Isokishi returns to her room by sitting down and nodding her head, possibly sleeping.

There is little to no sound in the game.

Plot

Judging by being able to immediately access the Nexus, Isokishi is already in the dream world at the start of the game. Whether or not this is voluntary is unknown.

Effects

Effect	Image	Description
Anglerfish (あんこう)		Isokishi's head becomes an anglerfish, lighting dark areas. Pressing Shift makes the screen flash.
Rabbit (うさぎ)		Isokishi gains rabbit ears and red eyes, increasing her speed. Pressing Shift makes her jump.
Pudding (プリン)		Isokishi's head becomes a pudding. Pressing Shift causes the pudding to wobble.
Uniform (せいふく)		Isokishi wears a school uniform.
Scythe (かま)		Isokishi wields a scythe, used to kill NPCs.
Hydrangeas (あじさい)		Isokishi's head turns into a hydrangea flower^[1], causing rain to fall. Pressing Shift makes the hydrangeas spin, toggling the amount of rainfall.
Mermaid (にんぎょ)		Isokishi turns into a mermaid.

Surgical Mask (マスク)		Isokishi wears a surgical mask, letting her pass through red mist. This effect was removed in ver.0.07.
Rokurokubi (ろくろくび)		Isokishi turns into a Rokurokubi, a floating head youkai. This effect was removed in ver.0.07.
Driving Wheel (ハンドル)		Isokishi's head becomes a violet steering wheel. This effect was removed in ver.0.07.
