Overview
Monotose is a short Yume Nikki fangame made by Eternal in RPG Maker XP. A remake of the game was planned in RPG Maker VX Ace, but was abandoned at an early state.
The protagonist, Lex, is going to appear as the protagonist of the author's upcoming game, Phobia Dark: Purgatory. It is not going to be a Yume Nikki fangame.
Gameplay
The game stars a shut-in named Lex exploring his dream world through sleeping in his bed. In his room, the beanbag chair is used to save. For some reasons, once in the dream world, he cannot wake up anymore.
Unlike most fangames, the maps aren't looping.

Not much is known about the game's plot.
