Overview

Kross is an English Yume Nikki fangame made by -torchic- in RPG Maker VX Ace. It stars a girl named Zugaikotsuki.

Gameplay

Zugaikotsuki is asleep from the start, and there are more hidden worlds than the ones connected to the Nexus. The goal is to explore and collect all of the skulls and effects hidden around the worlds. There is one ending available, but cannot be accessed through regular gameplay due to a bug in the game's code.

Plot

The game mostly does not explain why Zugaikotsuki is in the dream world. Some texts will call her "Meme" as a nickname, presumably in reference to the eye on her outfit - eye is 目 or 'me' in Japanese.
