Overview
Mikan Muzou (未完夢像 (みかんむぞう), Unfinished Dream) is a Japanese Yume Nikki Fangame created by Harinezumi, the same person who created Debris Dream. It features darker themes similar to Yume Graffiti and Broken Bottles, and was developed in RPG Maker 2000.
Gameplay
Mikan Muzou is a traditional fangame. The player sleeps on the couch to dream, and can play a mini-game on the phone while awake. The desk inside is used to save. In the dream world, the player can explore various worlds and collect effects.
Controls

Characters
Name | Image | Description |
---|---|---|
Soutarou (宗太郎) |
The main character of the game, a man with a complicated past. | |
Makkuro Shokushu (真っ黒 触手) |
One of two chasers of the game; he has black hair, wears a buttoned jacket, and has tentacles instead of legs. Unprovoked, he has a normal human face, but if attacked his skin and eyes turn red. Fan nickname literally translates to "pitch black tentacles". | |
Nate Shokushu (ネイト 触手) |
The other of the two chasers of the game; a blonde guy in an unbuttoned jacket, with a white shirt underneath. Unprovoked, he has a normal human face, but if attacked his skin and eyes turn red. Fan nickname combines an English name (presumably from his blonde hair/differing appearance from other characters) and the Japanese word for tentacles. | |
Himemi | A mysterious girl living in Gray World. She is the focus of an Uboa-like event. She appears to have some form of connection with Soutarou, as she also appears in some of the endings. | |
Binbōnin (貧乏人) |
A little girl that Soutarou can find in the slums. She's part of a random event in the game. She may also be connected to Soutarou somehow, as he won't use certain effects in front of her. "Binbōnin" is a fan name derived from the Japanese word for Pauper. |
