Overview

Farewell is a Yume Nikki fangame produced by Amata (アマタ) in WOLF RPG Editor.

Gameplay

You play as Relic, a girl that doesn't want to leave her room. She can travel to the dream world by going to bed; interacting with the book on the desk in her room saves the game. You start in Relic's room in a big mansion; you then go out to the fountain which is the nexus of the three worlds. After you arrive at the fountain, you can take a short cut by interacting with the fountain painting in the hallway near your room. You progress by collecting Mementos and Flowers.

Controls

• Arrow Keys - move
• Z, Enter or Space bar - interact with something
• X, Backspace, Insert or 0 (with Num Lock) - opens the menu and option screens
• SHIFT - makes Relic sit down, or do a special action when using certain effects
• Tab - wake-up
• F12 - back to the title screen

Mementos

The effects in this game are called Mementos. There are 21 in total.

Effect	Image	Description
Pony (ポニー)		Relic rides a pony which enhances her speed. Pressing SHIFT makes the pony neigh.
Black Uniform (くろふく)		Relic wears a black uniform, same as the chaser. Pressing SHIFT makes her disguise into chaser (or Rob) and makes the mad chasers to calm down.
Rifle (ライフル)		Relic carries a rifle. Pressing SHIFT makes her brandish the rifle. This weapon can't kill most of the NPCs in this game.
Lolita (ロリータ)		Relic wears a Lolita fashion dress. Pressing SHIFT makes her spin around.
Candle (ろうそく)		Relic carries a candle holder which brightens dark places. Pressing SHIFT extinguishes the fire.
Bloodstained (ちまみれ)		Relic becomes bloodstained. Pressing SHIFT makes her cry a teardrop.
Gerbera (ガーベラ)		Relic wears a Gerbera in her hair.
Colorful (カラフル)		Relic wears colorful flowery clothes. Pressing SHIFT makes the screen color change.
Dice (サイコロ)		Relic turns into a dice. Pressing SHIFT brings her back to the fountain.
Sheep (こひつじ)		Relic wears a sheep costume. Pressing SHIFT turns Relic into a little sheep, and allows her to enter some small entrances.
Honey (はちみつ)		Relic's hair and dress turn into honey. Pressing SHIFT makes her honey dress melt.
Mirror (かがみ)		Relic turns into a mirror. Pressing SHIFT makes her shine, and can be used to find some secrets.
Bindweed (ヒルガオ)		Relic wears a bindweed flower on her hair. Pressing SHIFT makes her pray for rain.
Hair Knots (たてむすび)		Relic has hair knots. Pressing SHIFT makes her tidy up her hair knots.
Twintails (ふたつむすび)		Relic has twin tails. Pressing SHIFT makes her swing her twin tails.
Adult (おとな)		Relic becomes an adult. Pressing SHIFT makes her do a curtsey.
Fur (ファー)		Relic wears a fur. Pressing SHIFT makes her pull her hat.
Dagger (ダガー)		Relic carries a dagger. Pressing SHIFT makes her brandish the dagger. It is a weapon like the rifle and can't kill most of the NPCs too.
Statue (ちょうこく)		Relic turns into a white statue.
Violin (バイオリン)		Relic carries a violin. Pressing SHIFT makes her play the violin.
Duct Tape (ダクトテープ)		Relic is tied up by duct tape, making her slow. Pressing SHIFT & Tab bar makes her struggle.

To unlock the endings, however, you also need the 9 flowers you can find during the exploration.
