Overview

Threshold is a English fangame by StudyMan99. The protagonist is a boy named Hideko, who refuses to leave his room.

Gameplay

Threshold is a traditional fangame. The player enters the dream world by sleeping in the bed. The goal is to collect effects. There are no endings yet.

Controls

Move - Arrow Keys
Interact/Select - Z/Enter
Open Menu - X/Esc
Effect Action - Shift
Wake up - 9

Plot

Hideko refuses to leave his room for unknown reasons.

Effects

Name	Image	Description	Icon
Mailman		Hideko wears a mailman uniform, increasing his speed. Pressing Shift will make him tip his hat.
Saturated Demon		Hideko turns into a brightly colored demon. Pressing Shift will make the screen flash colors.
Bleeding		Blood pours down Hideko's body. Pressing Shift makes him drip blood.
Box Cutter		Hideko holds a box cutter. He can kill NPCs with it. Pressing Shift makes him cut his wrist.
Flesh Mochi		Hideko becomes a flesh mochi.
Glitch		Hideko's sprite becomes glitched. Pressing Shift makes the sprite glitch out more.
No Face		Hideko's face becomes a black hole. Pressing Shift makes the hole ooze darkness.
