Overview

Yoake is a Japanese fangame produced by Rakugaki Studio and coolstep. It stars Otetsuki, a young girl. The game was originally called Yume 3kki ("Yume Mittsukki").

Gameplay

Yoake is a traditional fangame. The game begins in Otetsuki's bedroom which contains two computers, one for saving and one for playing a minigame called "Dieing!!". Sleeping in the bed will take the player to the dream world, which contains several worlds to explore and effects to find.

Due to the game being programmed in Action Editor 4 instead of RPG Maker, movement is much smoother. Chasers are also not limited to grid-based movement and will instead directly move towards the player.

Plot

Little is known about the game or Otetsuki herself, and it is highly unlikely the game is being continued, so the meaning behind her dreams are shrouded in mystery.

Ice (こおり)		Otetsuki becomes frozen and slides across the ground, increasing her speed.
Pistol (じゅう)		Otetsuki holds a gun and can shoot bullets by pressing A, allowing her to kill NPCs.
Gear Head (めだまはぐるま)		Otetsuki has a gear with an eye for a head. Pressing A warps her back to the nexus.
Washing Machine (せんたくき)		Otetsuki becomes a washing machine with feet.
