- Hey, I read your edit summaries, I'm glad you saw my message :-) Talk pages were always the worst part of this software, and many people have trouble with it, but I'll try to explain it simply:
- Basically, if you want to leave a new message, you can use the
New topicoption in the dropdown menu next to the edit source button (on different skins it may be a visible option). The subject line will turn into a==Header==and your message text is just like making a normal edit. For replies, you have to edit the page normally. - To make a "reply", you need to add one or more : colons to each line of your reply. Since my reply is directly to my message, I'm using one : colon. If you were to reply to this message, you would use two :: colons. It has to be at the start of each line, so if you ever hit "enter", make sure to re-add them at the start.
