Overview
Nightmare Diary is a currently in-development Yume Nikki fangame by Kayya and Tap. The main character is KNF, who has bloodstains all over him in the real world. In the dream world, he is known as Ketsueki (血液, lit. "Blood Liquid") and the bloodstains are removed.
According to the official Tumblr's description: "There’s 8 effects and 12 worlds as of V0.2."
Gameplay
Nightmare Diary plays like a typical fangame. You enter the dream world by sleeping in the bed. Interacting with the bookshelf allows you to save. Your main goal is to explore the dream world and obtain effects. There is plenty of dialogue in the game as well.
Plot
KNF appears to have confined himself to his bedroom to dream. There are bloodstains covering KNF's bedroom and himself, the reason for this being unclear.
