Overview
Family is a Yume Nikki fangame created by Land of Obscure Potatoes for the 2017 Dream Diary Jam. It stars Mother. It is currently in demo form.
The developer eventually announced on the game's itch.io page that they wouldn't update the game anymore, due to a lack of interest for doing so.
Gameplay
Family is a traditional fangame. The dream world is accessible by sleeping in the bed and the main goal is to find effects hidden in the dream world. You can save at any point from the menu. Mother can move faster by toggle speed on or off by pressing the SHIFT key.
Throughout the dream worlds are the Goodmen, NPCs who teleport Mother to areas she has previously visited.
Plot
Not a whole lot is known about the game's plot. You play as Mother who, along with the rest of her family, is unable to leave her house. She goes to bed and sleeps to pass the time.
