Overview

Re:in is an English fangame made by Gaida the Duck in RPG Maker 2003. It currently stars Hanatsuki and Tamashitsuki.

A special update was released on the game's second anniversary. While not a full/new release, version 0.00a adds some new events and explorable areas. It's recommended that new players play ver 0.00 first before playing 0.00a.

Gameplay

Re:in plays like a traditional fangame. You start as Hanatsuki and later unlock Tamashitsuki. Hanatsuki is a girl who refuses to leave her room, instead choosing to peek outside. After unlocking Tamashitsuki through a hidden event, the mirror in the nexus is used to switch characters.

Hanatsuki can only access the two nexus doors to the west, while Tamashitsuki can only access the two to the east. Trying to access the other character's worlds will result in either Hanatsuki refusing or Tamashitsuki peeking.

After unlocking Tamashitsuki, you can no longer save in reality with Hanatsuki.

Hanatsuki's Pieces

Diary		Hanatsuki holds a red diary. Pressing Shift allows her to go back to the Nexus. She can also save inside the dream using the dream desk.
Wheelbarrow		Hanatsuki rides a wheelbarrow. This increases her speed. Pressing Shift makes her jump.
Raincoat		Hanatsuki wears a frog raincoat. Pressing Shift makes her invisible to chasers, and can make the scenery change in some areas. Additionally, she can temporarily change her appearance to a duck-like coat via a hidden event.
Ball		Hanatsuki becomes a bouncing ball. Pressing Shift will change her into a smaller ball and back. (This piece is only accessible in 0.00.)

Tamashitsuki's Pieces

Effect	Image	Description	Icon
Diary		Tamashitsuki holds a red diary. Pressing Shift will return her to the nexus. (This piece is already in Tamashitsuki's inventory when you start out as her.)
Orthosis		Tamashitsuki wears braces on her legs, increasing her speed. Pressing Shift will make her kneel.
Artificial angel		Tamashitsuki becomes an artificial angel. Pressing Shift will glitch out the screen for a bit, which may reveal some secret imagery in some areas. Additionally, there is a random chance that her FaceSet icons and menu types will glitch. (This piece is only accessible in 0.00.)
Armillary sphere		Tamashitsuki's hair is tied into a bun. Pressing Shift will change her head into an armillary sphere. (This piece is only accessible in 0.00a.)
