Alek's Effects
Roller Skates
Appearance: Alek wears red roller skates.
Passive Effect: Alek's movement speed is increased.
Action: (Shift) When moving, Alek spins.
Location: Found in an outline house.
Practical Uses: Can be used to travel through the dream world a lot faster and avoid chasers.
Enter the rightmost door in the nexus. Head to the southeast corner of the map and enter the house there. Pick up the roller skates.
Baseball Bat
Appearance: Alek wields a baseball bat and wears a baseball cap, shorts, and a striped shirt.
Passive Effect: Neutral NPCs in the area stop moving.
Action: (Shift) Alek throws a baseball in the air and catches it.
Location: Found in the pink and purple crate maze.
Practical Uses: Allows Alek to kill NPCs.
In the nexus, enter the purple and cyan door. Go southeast past a building. You'll see a second building at the edge of the screen. Enter it and interact with the purple crate. In the new area, go west. Pick up the baseball bat.
Doomer
Appearance: Alek becomes pale and wears a black beanie and black clothes.
Passive Effect: When invisible, chasers won't actively target Alek.
Action: (Shift) Alek becomes invisible with just an outline and the screen becomes sepia-tone.
Location: Found in the dark path.
Practical Uses: Can be used to avoid chasers.
- Note: Alek is not invulnerable; running into a chaser will still result in being transported to an inescapable area.
In the nexus, enter the last door on the left. Go south. When you reach the bottom, go west and enter a black door. In this area, continue right. Once the path splits, head north and interact with the skeleton.
Chapka
Appearance: Alek wears a hat with fur and a jacket.
Passive Effect: None.
Action: (Shift) The hat swallows up Alek and transports him back to the Red Room (nexus).
Location: Found at the tea party.
Practical Uses: Used to warp back to the nexus.
- The Doomer effect is recommended.
Enter the blue door in the nexus. Equip the Doomer effect and become invisible. Go southwest and interact with the humanoid NPC wearing a hat (it will run away if the player is visible). In the new area, go up and pick up the hat.
