Roblox: Dream Emulator is an English fangame created by svr, also known as MrExe, in Roblox. It contains primarily his own dreams.

Gameplay

Roblox: Dream Emulator is a traditional fangame. The gameplay is very simillar to other traditional Yume Nikki fangames, except in 3D. Players can collect effects and explore the dream world. There is also many badges (built-in Roblox achievements) to collect, including a badge for each effect. Certain badges can also unlock other things than effects. The game emphasizes heavily on horror, featuring jumpscares and general suspense.

Plot

A reoccurring character that appears in the game is The Ruler, who seems to be an oversized dark eye, which always puts the player into dangerous situations. The creator recalls this entity appearing in his childhood nightmares several times, placing it in an antagonistic role of the game, running the whole dream network. The Detector effect can reveal The Ruler's current presence/influence.
