Genso Nikki (幻想日記, Illusion Diary) is an English fangame made in RPG Maker 2003 by Phobie Games.

Gameplay

Genso Nikki plays like a traditional fangame. The goal is to explore and find effects. The player enters the dream world by flipping the light switch in the room and saves the game by sleeping on the bed. The player cannot open the menu when awake.

You play as Akitsuki, a boy trapped in his room.

Big Coat		Akitsuki wears a blue coat, causing snow to fall.
Acid		Akitsuki has psychedelic colors. They change as he walks.
Sword		Akitsuki carries a sword on his back.
Turban		Akitsuki wears a turban, causing a sandstorm to appear.
Sunglasses		Akitsuki wears sunglasses, making the screen turn gray.
Aristocrat		Akitsuki wears fancy clothes.
Skateboard		Akitsuki rides a skateboard, increasing his speed.
8-bit		Akitsuki has flat colors.
