Overview

.B.P. (aka Back Packer Dream) is a Yume Nikki fangame made by SDS (Twitter Pixiv) and RAHU, who also created UBOK. and Yume Wo. (夢を。). Like many other fangames, it is exploration and discovery based.

Gameplay

.B.P. is a traditional fangame, its main objective is exploring dream worlds and collecting effects, which called Properties (持物) in this game. You star as a boy named Conrad, who is living in a tent and refuses to leave. As of Ver. 0.01, there are 9 Properties to collect.

There is also a minigame called Pylon 『runs』 (パイロン走) which can be played by interacting with the handheld on top of the box in the tent. In this game, you play as a motorcyclist avoiding pylons on a highway. You are scored on the distance you drive before hitting a pylon.

Effects

Cap (キャップ)		Conrad's head acquires a Cap. Pressing SHIFT causes him to become invisible, with only his hat showing. This can be used to avoid chasers.
Torso ( トルソー)		Conrad becomes a mannequin-like doll without arms, legs or a head. You can't wake up if this effect is euipped. Pressing SHIFT will change the mannequin color to blue.
Bar (バール)		Conrad carries a gray and black crowbar, letting you kill NPCs. Pressing SHIFT will make Conrad to hit his hand with the bar three times.
Flat (フラット)		Conrad becomes a smooth texture. Pressing SHIFT will teleport him back to the Nexus.
Dog (いぬ)		Conrad's head becomes a dog head. Pressing SHIFT makes him bark.
Mountain Bike (マウンテンバイク)		Conrad rides a mountain bike that doubles his speed. Pressing SHIFT will make him ring the bike's bell.
Mask (マスク)		Conrad puts on a medical mask. Pressing SHIFT makes him cough.
Stand Light (スタンドライト)		Conrad's head becomes a stand light. Pressing SHIFT will illuminate dark places.
Valve (バルブ)		Conrad's head becomes a valve. Pressing SHIFT will gradually change the amount of rain. Unequiping the effect will stop the rain.
