Hell Diary follows the adventures of Eun through the land of "hell," the dream-world equivalent. It was made by Uboachan user Mishka ( Creator's website. )
The story is somewhat unclear in the current version, but nonetheless promising. From what have been told so far, it seems that a shaman entered hell to commune with a being called "Amiha" regarding a strange glow in the Jikjon Mountains. But the shaman did not return, and so Eun is preparing to enter Hell herself to find out what happened.
There are no "effects" in Hell Diary, instead there are certain glyphs that when used do things, like destroying walls. There are also items, which can be used for various purposes.
Between v0.01 and v0.02 the graphics and many locations changed and a large part of the story was redone.
The game appears to be undergoing an engine switch for the purpose of improved graphical fidelity, according to the creator.
