Overview

Mata, Itsuka. (また、いつか。, Again, Sometime.) is a Japanese Yume Nikki fangame made by Mpiku, starring Katsuki (克樹) and Shun (峻). It was created in WOLF RPG Editor.

Gameplay

The objective of this game is to explore and collect effects in Katsuki and Shun's dreams. Both characters use their bed to sleep and their desk to save. When awake, the telephone is used to switch characters.

Controls

Move - Arrow Keys

Open Menu/Cancel - X/Esc
Effect Action - Shift
Drop Effect - 5 (in Nexus only)

Plot

Katsuki and Shun's relationship is unclear. The title "Again, sometime" may imply they were separated once and hope to eventually reunite. Katsuki and Shun both refuse to leave their room/apartment and explore a dream world. Additionally, both have short black hair and are described as sentimental.

They could be brothers, judging by their appearance. They could be (childhood) friends separated by life circumstances; judging by the telephone being used to switch characters, they have a positive relationship.

These similarities could also be interpreted as Katsuki and Shun being the same person, either through different points in time or split personalities.

Megaphone (メガホン)		Katsuki has a megaphone. Pressing Shift makes him scream into it bringing him back to the Nexus.
High-school Student (高校生)		Katsuki appears to be older. Pressing Shift makes him hold a post.
Bug Cage (虫かご)		Katsuki carries a bug cage.
Headset (ヘッドセット)		Katsuki wears a headset. Pressing Shift plays some sound.
Graduate Student (そつぎょうせい)		Katsuki dresses like a graduate student.
Pajamas (パジャマ)		Katsuki wears pajamas.
Crew (のりくみいん)		Katsuki wears a crew uniform. Pressing Shift makes him salute.
Shooting Star (シューティングスター)		Katsuki rides a green star, increasing his speed.
Hand Clap (ハンドクラップ)		Katsuki has a hand clap post. Pressing Shift makes him clap his hands.
Swimsuit (水着)		Katsuki wears a swimsuit.
Soccer Uniform (サッカーユニフォーム)		Katsuki wears a soccer uniform.
Dog Tag (ドッグタグ)		Katsuki wears a dog tag. Pressing Shift makes him examine it.

Sign Stand (立て看板)		Shun holds a sign stand as a weapon.
Mic (マイク)		Shun holds a microphone. Press Shift to make him scream into it and bring him back to the Nexus.
Leaf (葉)		Shun's head becomes a leaf.
Wristband (リストバンド)		Shun wears wristbands.
Light Wings (光翼)		Shun has a pair of colorful wings. Pressing Shift makes him float.
White Shirt and Necktie (ワイシャツとネクタイ)		Shun wears white shirt & necktie.
Combat Uniform (戦闘服)		Shun wears a combat uniform. Pressing Shift makes him salute.
Ninja Suit (忍装束)		Shun wears a ninja suit.
Aster (紫苑)		Shun's head becomes an aster.
Merman (魚人)		Shun becomes a humanoid fish, increasing his speed when in flooded areas.
Basketball Uniform (バスケユニフォーム)		Shun wears a basketball uniform.
Dog Tag (ドッグタグ)		Shun wears a dog tag. Pressing Shift makes him examine it.
