You play as a boy named [[Lex]], who is a shut-in. You get to explore his dreams.
The game stars a shut-in named [[Lex]] exploring his dream world through sleeping in his bed. In his room, the beanbag chair is used to save. For some reasons, once in the dream world, he cannot wake up anymore.


Some helpful points to mention:
Unlike most fangames, the maps aren't looping.
 
* Save at the white beanbag chair in the bedroom. This doesn’t really serve much purpose because you cannot wake up yet.
* Interact with the bed to go to sleep and enter the dream world.
* Don’t go into the completely white door in the Nexus, nothing is there. Literally. Just some blood that may or may not be a reference.
* Basically the whole game happens in the White Corpse World.
* There’s one effect.
* There’s a sort of '''screamer''', but the creator thinks it’s kinda obvious where it happens.

Overview

Monotose is a short Yume Nikki fangame made by Eternal in RPG Maker XP. A remake of the game was planned in RPG Maker VX Ace, but was abandoned at an early state.

The protagonist, Lex, is going to appear as the protagonist of the author's upcoming game, Phobia Dark: Purgatory. It is not going to be a Yume Nikki fangame.

Gameplay
