Shadow (影)

Appearance: Nakime becomes a shadow.

Passive Effect: Chasers will not go after Nakime (in shrunken form only).

Action: (Shift) Nakime shrinks down into a smaller shadow.

Practical Uses: Allows you to sneak past chasers.

Enter the bottom-right door in the starting area. Go left from the entrance until you're standing at the center of the top of another ring of circles. Go straight down from this circle and you should come to a bloody circle being spiked by another circle. Step onto the spike and you'll be sent to a maze with small spinning targets. Make your way north-west in the maze and interact with the holographic medallion spinning at a dead-end.

This medallion will take you to a small area with round mirrors. Go right and enter the red building. Go down the stairs then exit through the doorway at the bottom. In the street area, go right to another city area with small cracks in the ground. Make your way up in this area to a playground and interact with the spirit floating in front of the swings.

Kitchen Knife (包丁)

Appearance: Nakime wields a kitchen knife in her right hand.

Passive Effect: Certain NPCs will move away from Nakime.

Action: (Z) When interacting with NPCs, Nakime will attack them.

Practical Uses: Allows you to kill NPCs.

Exit the room from the other side of the tent and you'll now be in a hallway lined with shoji. Go right until you reach a point where the path splits, one path going down and the other to the right. Take the downward-facing path then go left. Enter the doorway at the end of the left-hand path and interact with the knife on the floor in the room.

Veil (面布)

Appearance: Nakime wears a black veil with a red X over her face.

Passive Effect: Makes doors and NPCs in certain areas disappear.

Action: None.

Practical Uses: Allows you to enter areas that are otherwise blocked off.

Falsehood (嘘)

Appearance: Nakime has a pair of human eyes instead of her cyclops eye.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (Shift) Nakime blinks.

Practical Uses: None.

(Shadow and Veil items are needed. Having the Kitchen Knife is optional but recommended.)

Enter the top-right door in the starting area. Go north-west from the entrance and enter the giant yellow face's mouth. In the gray area, go left until you just pass by a crocodile placed next to a fluffy brown and white creature. Go south past this pair and enter the cyan jellyfish-like doorway. On the other side of the doorway, go right a bit and then south. Look for a red square building with a blocked entrance; equip the Veil item to get inside.

Once inside the building, equip the Shadow item, shrink down by pressing Shift then go right. There'll be several chasers that will ignore you as long as you're in tiny shadow form. Enter the doorway at the other end of the hall. In the blue area, go right again and pass by the NPCs (you may need to use the Kitchen Knife to get by). Interact with the eyeball on the gray desk at the top of the room.

Stone (石)

Appearance: This item does not change Nakime's appearance when initially equipped.

Passive Effect: None.

Action: (Shift) Nakime turns into stone, freezing on the spot.

Practical Uses: None.

Enter the top-left door in the starting area. Go up from the door until you are standing directly across from a red ghost figure, then go left past the ghost. You'll come across a group of moving gray ghosts with several blue splatters on the ground. Interact with the striped tricolor pillar to the north from these blue splatters.

From where you're teleported, go left past the pillar until you're standing next to a giant white tent with orange swirls at the bottom. Go south from this tent and then interact with the front of the white tent being guarded by two NPCs. Go inside the tent then exit the room on the other side. Go right down the hallway until you reach a point where the path splits. Take the path going right.

Walking far enough to the right will send you to a new area with eyes moving by in the background. Keep walking right in this new area for about 10 seconds or so then go up and find/interact with the ladder. This ladder will take you to a red room. Exit the red room, go straight left once outside and enter the pink house. There should be a giant white snake sticking out of the wall inside. Interact with the top of the snake's snout to get the item.

Events


Flight

Enter the bottom-left door in the starting area. Go south-west from the door and enter the multi-colored building. In the graffiti-tile area, go north-west from the entrance and walk between the two alien figures. Go right and interact with the blue-eyed pillar at the end of the path to start the event.

Head

Enter the top-right door of the starting area. Head a bit south and then west. You'll see a glass pane that looks like a vending machine. There is a random chance that this will be red. If it isn't, leave the area and return until it is. Interact with the red glass and you'll be taken to a dark area. Head down and interact with the object at the bottom.

Endings

Endings 3 through 6 can only be achieved in a save file that has seen Ending 2.


Ending 1

Collect all five items then return to the starting area. There will now be a fifth door that you can enter. Go through the door, walk up the hall and interact with the NPC at the top of the room.

Ending 2

To get this ending you must obtain all five items and stab all 8 blue-eyed NPCs with the Kitchen Knife. Do not use the "Close eyes" command, as it will cause the NPCs to respawn. As a result, you'll have to do a bit of backtracking to stab all the NPCs. These NPCs can be found at the following locations:

Top-left Door:

  • In the ghost world north-west from the entrance. There's a white ghost with a blue eye on their torso.
  • In the shoji hall, take the downwards path then go right. There will be a NPC with multiple blue eyes that appears from behind the shoji.

Top-right Door:

  • One of the screens placed against a wall in the main world has a blue eye on it.
  • One of the NPCs walking down the blue hallway leading to the Falsehood item.

Bottom-right Door:

  • In the spinning target maze, one of the targets placed among a row of reds is blue.
  • In the round mirror world, one of the right-facing mirrors near the red building has a blue-eyed being that peers out of it.

Bottom-left Door:

  • The NPC that starts the Flight event.
  • In the red world leading to the Veil item; there is a small blue creature roughly north-west from the blue cross.

Ending 3

Follow the Stone effect guide until you reach the red room. Instead of interacting with the door to get out, use the Kitchen Knife effect on it. Go out of the door to see the ending.

Ending 4

Follow the Falsehood effect guide. When you reach the office room, interact with the eye on the desk at the top of the room.

Ending 5

This ending contains flashing strobe lights and loud noises. Please be cautious when attempting this ending. Follow the Veil effect guide. When you interact with the black door, you should be taken to a new map. Head directly north and interact with another Nakime. More Nakime NPCs should spawn.
