Overview

Sewage is a Chinese Yume Nikki fangame, developed by 天蓝色の约定 in RPG Maker 2003.

Gameplay

Like other fangames, the objective of the game is to explore the dream world and collect Items (物品). Rather than directly going to sleep to get to the dream world, the player enters a doorway that leads right into the nexus instead. Goods don't change the protagonist's form or do anything at all. Rather, they seem to be memories from the protagonist's past.

The protagonist can pinch her cheek to return to the nexus, rather than waking back up in her room. The player can save by interacting with the smiling blob in the room.

Interact/Select - Z/Space
Open Menu/Cancel - X/Esc

Plot

You play a girl named Xuan Wozi. The game suggests she is school-aged, as the game has a world of doodles with cute creatures, and a spot with "My School" as a label.

Character	Sprite	Description
Xuan Wozi (漩涡子)		The main character of the game.
Blue		The best friend of Xuan Wozi in the dream world. You can find her in one of the classroom at school. She is wearing a blue scarf, and gives the White Rose item to Xuan Wozi.
Orange haired girl (橙发少女)		One of Xuan Wozi's neighbor in the dream world, wearing a light gray hat.
Black long straight (黑长直)		One of Xuan Wozi's neighbor in the dream world, has a black long straight hair.
Writer (作家)		One of Xuan Wozi's neighbor in the dream world, is a poor writer. She's wearing suspenders, has a pattern of smiling face on the clothes.
Ghost in blue		The ghost in blue who met under the viaduct, gives the Umbrella item to Xuan Wozi.
Side Ponytail		A girl who lives inside the star sea city, has a side pontytail, you can find the Diary item in her bedroom.
Killer (杀手)		A person who you can find in the dream. He gives the Gun item to Xuan Wozi.
